    I thought Wagner signed?

Gordon and Landry would be good signings.

Wagner visited the Rams, but left without a contract. I also read that he was visiting the Ravens.

Melvin Gordon on the right deal would be a very nice complement to Najee

I would love that. But I see we can get a RB in the third, that compliments Harris, better than a safety in third to start. So I rather put the money on kazee or the honey badger.

I doubt they want to spend much on a No. 2 running back. I'm guessing Gordon will want too much money.

He will probably want $5m or thereabouts, I agree it’ll be too rich for the Steelers if that is the case. There may not be much of a market for him however. There aren’t many teams paying that kind of money to backup running backs, which is what he is now. He might get a starting job if some team has an injury in camp

Agreed, and how does he see himself. Kind of tired of signing guys who complain once the season starts about their roles on the team. There always seems to be talent available after the June cuts as well.

No, they will sign Gordon, then six weeks in Gordon will demand to be traded for lack of playing time.

I read that he wants 16 million a year, that could be why he's not signed yet.

He might get that. It is Jarvis Landry wanting $20 million a year that makes me chuckle. He is a very good player, but even before a down 2021, no way.

Ravens might be able to do that, they were freeing up money when they tried to sign Za'Darius.

I was super high on Landry, pre-Browns ... currently not so much, but how much is that the system and QB in Cleveland? He still is a very solid WR. I'm not sure he would thrive in Pittsburgh though given the QB situation.

Allen Robinson went over 1,000 yards twice with Trubisky.

Flores and Austin have experience calling the defense, no need for him to do it, why would Austin take the job if he wasn't going to be able to call the plays.

Because I'm betting that Tomlin isn't entirely honest with his coaches like he isn't with certain players.

    Tomlin is the head coach

Why shouldn’t he have input on the defense

That BS about him calling the game day defense was put down and buried

Andy Dalton signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Saints. He can earn up to $6 million with incentives. It is a moot point now, but I do remember some thinking he wouldn't be cheap enough if the Steelers just wanted cheap competition for Rudolph. Looks like he ended up being cheap enough to me. He is a nice insurance policy behind Winston.
