shame on tomlin for keeping leftwitch in

I was telling myself that leftwitch needed to be out of the game at halftime. he absolutely did not have any zip on his passes.

    Solely on the Coaches

Let me first say, yes Wallace sucks AND cost us huge with momentum...

BUT despite all that, this loss is on the coaches. I'm usually not too critical of the coaches (except BA lol), but this game was a joke.

Despite all our short comings going into this game we were in the position to win it. Instead we:
Went pass first on a poor rush defense with all three of our RB's healthy.
Kept Lefty in the game after being obviously injured.
Continue to use Wallace as a key piece when he is the least reliable receiver.
Use Mendy when Dwyer is gaining monster yards.
Pass for it on 3 & 2 at the goal line after running the whole way down the field on Dwyer's shoulders.
Wasting 2 TO's on a drive that resulted in a FG.
    I'm sure I missed some...

I'm not saying Fire Tomlin and Haley, but Rooney needs to sit them down and smack them both upside the head. And, props to DL and the D. Needed some turn overs, but they did hole the rats to 6 points. Would've been enough to win the game had the special teams not lived up to their awful reputation.

    Are you kiddng me?

Dumbest coaching staff in the league. We started a QB that no one wanted and we only ran 27 times out of 68 plays. Not only that, but it was obvious that Leftwich was hurt from the time the genius fell into the endzone in the first minute of the game. Mendenhall continues to not get it done either running or catching the ball at the end and not running out of bounds. Tomlin's team continues to have stupid penalties that kill us week in and week out. Receivers who think they are worth $100+ million continue to underperform something awful.

The facts are the defense played great, but we are stuck with an OC that grew up playing Madden football and doesn't know how to win with a subpar QB. He thinks he's so much smarter than all the DCs in the league because he averaged 75 pts per game on Madden 95. The coaching staff didn't make the necessary adjustments to win this game. Dwyer was effective when used correctly and everytime we had a chance to punch it in Leftwich was throwing. This was a very winnable game against a very overrated team and once again Tomlin and his merry band of morons dropped the ball. Dick Lebeau might retire this year out of embarrassment.

Why bother keeping Charlie at all????

Leftwich is fine for an immediate injury to Ben. But, as for the starter, Batch should've been the guy. You keep the old timer as your no.3, for what?????? I would've loved to have had Jarrod Johnson tonight. Leftwich hasn't won a game as a starter since '06. That's gotta be a good indicator right there Coach T!!! We know Charlie can win!
