I've heard of this group, but never heard this song. I like it.

 

One of my favorite more modern Megadeth songs. I especially love the machine gun guitar and double bass that kicks in partway through the verse starting around 1:36.

 

they’re widely credited as pioneers of “shoegaze”;however, that is debatable in my opinion. It’s odd that I like the record so much as I generally despise music that’s overproduced. Although, I do tend to gravitate towards things that are bit esoteric.

 

I'll be honest.....the thought over produced, and hypocrite did come into My mind while listening. LoL
Though I don't hold it against bands that producers, and executives do this 2 their recordings.

 

I have not heard this song by them yet. It would be very hard 2 get Me 2 down Megadeth.
Their Album Peace Sells is still one of My all time favorite albums.
This is a bit different .....though I still dig it.

Yes. He is a one man band. Yes, he sings into a telephone receiver mounted in the visor of a motorcycle helmet. A rather amusing story. Years ago I went see a show headlined by a band named 20miles. Bob Log was the opening act. He walks out on stage with a bottle of jack. Cracks it open, takes a swig,passes it to the crowd, and says welcome to the Bob log party. He plays his set and the venue empties. It went from a packed house of 500 people to 9. 20 miles played their set to 9 people.

Reminds Me a lot of a Late...Very good friend of Mine Smiling Bob Lewis(James Robert Lewis). From the bands...Tyrannosaurus Chicken, Ben Miller band, and The Crumbs. When He wasn't with them He played as a one man band with...fiddle, drums, Guitar, harmonica, and singing. If You get a chance check Him out .

After reading most of these posts, now I know how lost my parents felt when I told them the names of rock bands back in my early days - The Grateful Dead, The Seeds, The Fugs, The Mothers of Invention, The Holy Modal Rounders, Question Mark and the Mysterians, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Hocus Pocus. Then my kids generation listening to the Dead Kennedys, the Butthole Surfers, the Trashcan Sinatras, They Might Be Giants. LOL.
