2022 is a write off because he is due a big suspension.

After that it’s going to be one seriously top heavy roster but the Rams just won the Super Bowl with that kind of setup so who knows.

Needless to say I hope it blow up in their face

While I have my doubts about Watson when one player (Brady) keeps going to the championship practically year after year, how can you not be obsessed?

I mean... the whole "extensive" aspect of these statements are nothing more than PR Fanfare anyways. Regardless, it is obvious as to why Deshaun was selected. Deshaun has the ability to take the Browns where Baker Mayfield simply cannot; deep into the playoffs.

Is this a Steelers forum or Deshaun Watson forum?

If the Browns continue their 14 year streak of 3rd and 4th place finishes in the AFC North division, then the Steelers will have to deal with SCAPEGOAT Watson.

If you remember, they were supposed to be Super Bowl contenders this year.

Because he doesn't affect my life with what he does whatso ever .. Him and any other player that doesn't play for the Steelers are irrelevant to me.... Its simple

Off topic: I love John C. Reilly ever since Boogie Nights. He is in an HBO miniseries about the 70's LA Lakers. He plays the owner Jerry Buss. I'm not an NBA fan but I always root for the Lakers to win it all. I would love if Jerry Buss was the way they are portraying him in the series.

First game against the Browns, TJ breaks through and sacks Watson for a 15 yard loss. TJ: "Hey DeShawn, JJ said to tell you Hi."

I don’t care if they got DeShawn
Or other deals they’re working on
They try to make opponents quiver
But stink like a burning Cleveland river
Haslam thinks he’s a clever schemer
But he ‘s laid another Cleveland Steamer
I do not fear the Browns, I don’t
    I won’t obsess on them, I won’t
    ‘Cause the Browns, remember it,
Are cursed to always step in ****.

I just hate to see a guy with 22 counts (accusations) against him, get rewarded with the1st $230 million fully guaranteed contract.

It could been Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, Drew Brees...

Nope Deshaun Watson.... Only in America....

As far as Cleveland goes. It will either be a smart move on their part to end their QB curse, or a deal like this puts a franchise back another 4-6 years, due to not being able to draft high end picks for 3 years, and the future salary cap issues they may face.

Its not bad now but in 2-3 years they will be headed to a really rough cap situation.

True...Blaine Gabbert should never outplay you, but it's still 5 games compared to 11 and he had a better Passer Rating than Gabbert. He also started the last 8 games of the season proving he was the better option and doing better than Blaine Gabbert at that point in the season.

As far as behavior on and off the field I fail to see any issues with Kaep on or off the field. Was he in some type of trouble I'm unaware of during that season or prior? Kneeling is not a character flaw, nor being a good or bad teammate. Did he kill somebody, beat up his gf, molest a child, partake in a hostile takeover of a govt?? If he failed as bad as you say he did on the field why did he turn down a contract to extend him by San Fran?? Sounds like some unwarranted inexplicable hatred coming from your end. If you're gonna turn this personal just find someone else who's on the same judgmental pedestal you're on. I'm not on that.

his salary this year is only $1 million compared with $9m signing so the suspension will only cost him $57k per game. $55 million cap hit 2023-2026
