How much worse can Mitch be than last years horrific offense production. Seriously. We barely broke twenty points most games even if we won

Top 10 off the top of my head right now: Mahomes, Allen, Brady, Stafford, Burrow, Rodgers, Wilson, Herbert, Murray, Prescott. Nope, I don't see Trubisky. I do like the move though.

You can teach, but most that have been playing since 6 Don't all of a sudden start 2 changes everything they have done in the last 16 years.
Plus really seeing, and reacting is a tribute people are born with....not something that can be taught......Yes someone can get better, but You either have it, or You dont....it's just like a boxer....you can get faster...stronger, and a better at reacting, but the true ability 2 focus, and see everything, and then 2 make the right decisions in split seconds while under pressure off pain....You have, or You don't.

Nagy was a pretty darn good offensive coach. Reality is the Steelers are going to mulligan this next season in hopes of getting a better QB in the draft in 2023.

Nagy managed to not screw up Andy Reid's coaching. That doesn't mean he is a good offensive coach.

Nagy was a disaster in Chicago. There are articles and quotes all over about it. If they wanted to mulligan this coming season, they would have just let Mason and Haskins play. They are taking a chance. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't.

Actually Trubisky got better under Nagy. I think some forget Nagy didn't draft Trubisky, and wasn't His 1st coach. It was J. Fox.

Correct. A few seasons later, Nagy was fired because he didn't know what he was doing. Look at the mess he made with Fields last year. Trubisky could fail all over the place here. That doesn't change that Matt Nagy sucked in Chicago.

That still doesn't explain why both coaches were using the round peg like he was a square peg.

Was not comparing at all. My point is a QB will perform better when he has better WR, better RB, etc.

As for Stafford he left a losing culture organization for a much better one.

We shall see. I can't tell You how much I hope that everyone thinking Trubisky is going 2 be good....is absolutely correct. I'm a Steelers fan, and I hope for success over if I'm right , or wrong.

He will have 2 earn freaking Mitchell from Me.
83% of My family lives in Chicago ,and they are loving every min of tormenting Me over this.
I laughed, and called everyone of them the day they drafted Him. Because I had Him as a 2nd round pick, and they picked Him the 2nd total pick. I've been giving them Hell ever since.
Now they are paying Me back.
He's lucky I call Him Mitch, and not something else.

What does another back up T cost in the market? It saves 2.6, but we'd likely have to spend that money at the same position. Or we could rely solely on a draft pick to be our swing tackle. doesnt seem like a great option. That 2.6 is fine where its at with Haeg imo.

Fields sucks. When your QB sucks, the head coach usually looks like he sucks too.

I usually agree, and it might well be, but I think it's 2 early for us 2 know if Fields sucks. I'm not high on Him, but I can't say He sucks yet. JMO

I’d like to keep Haeg for that money. He was a capable swing tackle last season. Every team needs that L/R capable swing tackle on game day.

I don’t think his pieces are so overly special all combined. This team will have to win with D.

Stafford didn't look like a bust with the lions. He looked like a good qb playing on a terrible team. Trubisky looked like a bad qb playing on a bad team.

Top ten? Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady, wilson, Watson, Kyler, Allen, lamar, Herbert, burrow, Stafford, dak, and carr are without a doubt better.
Then you have the tannehills, bakers, Jimmy gs, Matt Ryan's etc.. of the world that he's not even better than. Trubisky isn't no where near top even 15
