He’s not getting a lifetime ban. As dumb as the browns are I’m sure they had a conversation with the league before making a trade.

Deshaun Watson: I’m not interested in signing with the Cleveland Browns!

Agent: They’re offering $230 million guaranteed over 5 years!

Watson: Dawg Pound, here I come…woof, woof, woof, woof…

It has been 14 years since the Browns have emerged from the bottom half of the division.
And they have never finished the regular season ahead of the Steelers in the AFC North.

When the Browns can put together two consecutive winning seasons, then they can start aiming for bigger things.

I bet personally he will not care. Watson made out like a bandit on the Browns. Again, even if the Browns acquire more draft capital from Baker Mayfield, this had BETTER WORK for Cleveland.

Mike Florio said they structured his contract so that his base pay of the upcoming season will be 1 million so that way if he gets a 6 game suspension and doesn't get those game checks it won't be that huge amount of money. Kind of a slimy move to me but whatcha gonna do.

This is something that I hadn't considered. Watson has played his entire football life in the deep South. In the AFC North every game is in bad weather from November on. Let's see how he does in 20° weather with 30 MPH wind blowing in off of Lake Erie.

SB or bust. If they win it all, its worth it. Think Cleveland cares about 5 years from now. They have been a basement dwelling team for decades. They can go back to that again, only this time they will have a Lombardi in the trophy case.

But Watson is a top 10 QB, Trubisky is probably somewhere 20-32.

THATS What We KNOW For SURE.... ohhh and he isnt worth the $$$ he is being paid............... I think a few people on here are gonna be surprised how MEH the Browns are gonna be .............. time will tell

It occurred to me that the way Cleveland blows first round picks, they might have gone through all three to get a starting QB anyway.

Actually, some shrewd wheeling and dealing by the Browns. I bet they insisted Baker not be part of the trade so they could turn around and recoup some of that draft capital. They probably got at least a 1st rd back.

It’s a hypothetical @S.T.D@S.T.D , whys that hilarious. If they win the SB, it’s worth it. From their standpoint, who cares if they go back to sucking, they’ve done that for years anyway.

I think my metaphor was lost on you Blast. Didn't mean that trading away 3 1st was bad, but more that in 10 years of drafting in the top 10 most of thier 1st rounders were waste

It's Hilarious 2 think a organization that is known for being worse then the team He(D. Watson) just came from .... all of a sudden (with suspensions)....will beat the Ravens, Bengals, Steelers, Charger, KC, Denver, and whomever they must go against 2 win a SB. Is everyone else just going 2 lay down, and give up???
That's what is Hilarious 2 Me.....not would they give up being sucky again for a SB.....they are already sucky. plus....like hand size it doesn't mean everything, but it means something....Watson Himself said He was trying 2 stay out of the cold, but the money mattered more.....0 -3 in 40 degrees, or less.
Again....doesn't mean everything, but it means something.

LoL. I know exactly what it means....it means a quick ,and very dangerous drop in body temperature that can be....oh that's Hypothermia LoL.......seriously though...We aren't dealing in hypothetical...I doubt the Browns are thinking in Hypothetical terms....hell scratch that...they probably are....that's why they SUCK
