I'd be more than happy with JuJu coming back on a "reasonable" deal but I'm personally interested in Landry. He'd be a really good fit.

No chance he sees that kind of money IMO. He has had a knee issue for some time that teams will be aware of. He will probably get a two year deal for well under $10m APY

anthony miller, steven sims, tyler vaughn, rico bussey, cody white. 3 of these guys have nfl experience. i expect we will see what they really have this year and see who steps forward. sims is a punt returner as well. he and miller have some legit nfl numbers under their belts. we may draft one but we have some 3rd and 4th and 5th wr talent here already to choose from.

With it being a lot of new. It'll probably take until week 5 to see what we have. And then week 8/9 it'll start getting solid.

Agreed. If we can make the playoffs with a relatively healthy defense, I'd be stoked to see what happens. We definitely need to fill a few more holes with quality/above-average defenders but having Tuitt and Alualu back would be massive.

I acknowledged that there is more money available now. There are also more options at receiver available now. Teams are looking at that draft class and realizing they can get help in April.

I never said Smith-Schuster wasn't useful, but really, he wasn't doing that much before he got hurt last season.

Robinson preceded a bad 2021 with outstanding seasons in 2019 and 2020. Smith-Schuster preceded his lost 2021 season by averaging 8.6 yards per reception. I know you will respond to that with more excuses for Smith-Schuster, but an average that low for two seasons isn't all the fault of Roethlisberger and Canada.

I do think Kirk is being overpaid, but at least his career trajectory is headed in the right direction. That simply isn't true of Smith-Schuster.

I didn't care much for him as a WR, especially when he would get ten targets a game, but I thought they would keep him for his return ability. The 49ers overpaid for him though.

This was the number one reason he should have been cut last year. His return ability vanished overnight.

I would want to keep Juju because I like him but definitely wouldn’t want the Steelers to break the bank. My guess is he wants his money now.

I wouldn't say overnight but after his 1st year with the team, opponents knew what he was and how to limit him. Same thing on offense he got the ball a lot because no one in their right mind was worried he'd do anything once he caught it. Similar kind of thing as Claypool his rookie year, they were creative in ways to get him the ball, year 2 teams took that away and the splash plays dried up.

Good for him. He should have played better before he got hurt.

He led the league in return yardage last season I think.

I would take Woods on a reasonable contract.

    I'm at half that...3 year for 20

I said on here a few months ago I thought 6 was his ceiling for me.. and that's just because I really like the kid.... if I am another team looking for the slot.... I'm going after Cole Beasley before JuJu. And Cole was just released because of his almost 8 mill a year. Big difference between outside money and insids money.

Kay Adams was saying basically the same thing this morning on the NFL Network. That the Steelers haven't made the headline grabbing, splash signings but have made several very solid FA signings.

Probably bias saying this. But if last year we made it with Ben being at his worse, and we didn't have all the pieces we've just got. I find it hard to believe we miss the playoffs.

Only thing that can get in our way, is ourselves. So they need to click and Be calm by week 8.
