Technically... the Steelers have had Tomczak, Stewart, Maddox and Roethlisberger as full time starters since 1999. So that's 4, not 2.

Kent Graham only played the first 3 games in 2000. He was benched after Steelers went 0-3. Kordell Stewart started 80% of the games in 2000 and Steelers ended up 9-7.

 

According to the bio he went 2-3 in his 5 starts in Pitt

I'd say so what if he's no better than Jimmy G. By picking him up via FA as opposed to trading for Jimmy saved the Steelers 18m and draft picks.

Only good thing so far is the browns may be in worse shape then the steelers unless they snag watson, Jimmy g, or Matt Ryan.

 

In the afc that is not working. You're not going through this gauntlet of qbs by running and playing good defense. Those days in the nfl are over tbh. It's why san Fran wants to get rid of Jimmy g.

 

Problem is will tj Watt hold up long enough for a rookie to blossom into a sb qb? How long does Heyward have? The other pieces?

 

The single best thing about this signing is that it prevented us from going all in on Tyrod Taylor!

If Steelers pick Willis, it will be the dumbest pick since Huey Richardson and Jamain Stephens.

 

Prepare some glass windows then if he still is. Also, bring some ointment for your hands after removing the embedded pieces of glass from your fists. You will need it.

 

Willis is nowhere near Kordell Stewart, much less LJ....and the Steelers own LJ and Ravens offense. A project QB, all hype. If Steelers waste a pick on Willis or Pickett or any QB, instead of taking best defensive player....it will set this franchise back for 5 years at least.
