I'd be happier with Willis if we get him in second or third round. He seems way too raw to be a 1st round pick.

I assure you, record is not all I go by. Jackson is one thing but I short circuit when fans try to argue against obvious thing like tell me Allen and Watson aren’t good. All I have to do is watch them play.

    It is possible for certain.

Bear in mind that, as I said in the beginning, even a team like the Seahawks will not be nearly as courteous as Denver was in 2019; doubly so for the price of admission. A possible Franchise QB is going to cost more than just a mere 1st and 3rd. Might have to give up two 1s just to entertain Seattle alone; other picks and even players at that.

Do not believe me? While he is not in the draft, Russel Wilson was given up for essentially the Kings Treasure Chest. God knows how much it will take to acquire that pick!!

Would have loved Jordan Whitehead. My guess is they let Terrell test free agency and if the price is right they’ll give him an offer.

Marcus Maye is also still out there, would be another very good option, can do it all.

They are improving this line, ( not for MW ) but for the team in general , ..IF you think signing these FA's are for drafting a certain QB it is laughable..

The details of Whitehead’s contract will bring Edmunds future here or lack thereof more into focus.

What, move up? That’s not going to happen. I’m not even sure they will take a QB a#20 anymore let alone move up for one.

I think they will see what Trubiskys does and then approach the QB position from there.

Most people think he will be the first one off the board. I saw reports that after the combine the general consensus is he is the top QB.

If I was N.O., or Atlanta...Pickett would be My first Qb.
If I was Steelers, and forced 2 take a Qb in the 1st round it would be ...Willis, or Howell.

Yep. Me and you know how the Steelers operate long by now; they will do whatever they can to get their guy. Malik Willis has been their guy since the Senior Bowl and that interest has only intensified. Now.. that said, Sam Howell is likely the failsafe plan but not at 20.

Signing viable starters with every intention of drafting the next starter is all well and good...

But lately it has blown up in our face with LeGarrette Blount and Melvin Ingram.

I hope Steelers are upfront on what their expectations are.

Those guys were older and more established, the guys they just signed are all about 26 or younger.

What does this have to do with Ingram? He was never signed to be the starter.

Because of Watts unofficial holdout during camp and preseason he was able to play with the #1s, but he was never going to be a starter on this team.

I don't see Chuks getting beat out by LeGlue, he needs to earn that new contract.

Would not surprise me if he did in all honesty. Pickett to me, as he is now, is what one will get. Very high floor but limited ceiling overall. Willis offers so much more ceiling wise but his bust potential is one of the highest I have ever scouted personally. He truly can go either way.

His fate will be decided on where he goes. The whole "Offense Specific" talk about him though is silly to me.

After seeing what Whitehead got, I'm disappointed. The Steelers should have made a better offer.

Hicks is gone now, too, so there goes one of the better inside linebacker options.
