What comes to mind immediately for me is Jesse James' overturned TD against New England. Others?

There was a terrible missed call on a blatant hold by Jacksonville on their game winning run to beat the Steelers in the playoffs Tomlin’s first year.

But that was the correct call based on the rules at the time

Jessie should have just held on to the ball rather than fumble

    It was significant

    It was also significant

Otherwise, the refs have been fair to us for 88 years

I have nothing to whine about

Divisional playoff game against the Colts. Troy intercepts the ball, fumbles it out of bounds, refs correctly call it Steelers ball. Colts challenge the call and somehow it was overturned. Colts got the ball and ended up scoring on that possession. The league even admitted they screwed up a couple days later.

That ridiculous PI call against Haden vs New Orleans in 2018 was a killer, probably cost them a playoff spot.

They had gotten utterly shafted against the Chargers two weeks before at home as well, with several blown calls leading to scores and a Chargers win.

And the surprise of the day: Steelers president Art Rooney said "the Jesse James play was actually called the right way"

Media outlets ran enhanced audio of the coin toss and the cleaned up audio proves that Bettis said “hea-TAILS.” As Luckett was explaining the situation to coach Bill Cowher, the sideline microphone also picks up Bettis’ partial admission of guilt, “I said ‘huh’! I said ‘huh’!”

By rule, Luckett was supposed to take Bettis’ first choice, thus he followed proper procedure.

Oh my yes! I remember that and thankfully we were good enough to overcome that terrible call. Joey Porter in the America's Game film of that championship season said he was so mad about that call, he couldn't talk.

Jesse James TD that cost them the #1 seed, they could've avoided playing Jacksonville early on in the playoffs.

Well these bring back some horrible memories. The Jessie call was worst for me. I was putting ceiling liner in the house I am building That Sunday I feel 30 feet at about 11:00 in the morning. I was so looking forward to the game. I was air lifted to VCU. It was in the fourth quarter that I found a TV in ICU. Jessie's TD overturned to incomplete hurt worse than the fall. All in all, it was a very bad day for me.

As would be expected from an owner, especially one with Rooney's status in the league. The league and its integrity is greater than the team. Most owners, especially the establishment old-timers, recognize this.
I don't care to go back and refresh and rehash the details of the rule, but the refs got it wrong.
