Yes. Gradkowski was put on injured reserve which led to Vick

With the Seattle trade yesterday, that might have thrown
a QB falling to us at 20 very difficult. There maybe some trade worked out for a Ridder type in second round.
Not so sure how this will shake out?

This idea is nuttier than a fistful of squirrel ****. He may not even be allowed to play in 2022. Comes with more baggage than a Greyhound bus.

Looking at the draft board, if the Giants don't get Pickett, I think he drops to the Steelers at 20.

More baggage than a Samsonite commercial
More baggage than an Avis commercial with someone (who) running through an airport.
Even Mr Peanut be like NUTS??!

Unfortunate that he is better than what we have. Yes I'm Cpt Obvious.
If all was good and the price was right i would be ok with it.
    We need to do something.

HE has never beat or lost to anyone, the Texans have though. Watson on the Chiefs, they are super bowl contenders. Watson on the Bucs, the same. Watson on the Rams, the same. I have never understood equating team success or lack of, with how talented a player is. Most people put Barry Sanders in the top two or three running backs of all time, how much success did the Lions have during his career?

Sorry. Win, and Losses are a Qb stat in my opinion.
    Also...I happen 2 be a person that doesn't have B. Sanders at a top 3 rb.
I have always found it funny if a person likes a Qb , and if He loses ...it's the teams fault, but if they don't like the Qb it's his fault.
    Can't have it both ways.

why don't the Steelers sign Colin Kampernick sorry if misspelled I think he would be great for Steelers He is mobile in shape looked good with 49ers he is a wildcard he would sign to play and guess what no back up scrubs no draft picks given up give him a chance to play and show what He is capable of. Mobile> have< the picks for other needs. think Steelers think Mr. Rooney it's a good choice

well, if it is next year , we are looking at maybe 6 wins this year. quite a price to pay to suck for another year....

Nobody can win every year, very few teams transition from one franchise QB to the next one seamlessly. It’s incredibly hard to do and is based on luck more than planning tbh. Farvre to Rodgers and Montana to Young were massive anomalies.

Also both You mentioned didn't take their teams 2 the SB as much as the one before them.
    Montana went,and won 4...Young won 1.
Farvre went 2 two,and won one.....Rodgers just the one. Yes....it's very Hard....just like You said.

Yes this idea that the Steelers should have a stud QB just waiting in the wings is not realistic. They haven’t had a top 10 pick in forever. You get the odd gem like Brady later in the draft but it is incredibly rare.

Those teams might be Super Bowl contenders with him. You can't conclusively prove that they would, I can't conclusively prove they wouldn't. All I know is that the guy has one playoff win in his career and a bus load of legal trouble ahead of him. I would hope the Steelers wouldn't even be thinking about trading for him even as a joke.
