See the quote in Brice's post. If true, and I hadn't seen that one before, it should be the end of the ridiculous defense of Vick by one poster on this thread.

He definitely killed dogs. That part is undisputed fact.

He also tried to lie his way out of it, then changed his tune after failing a polygraph. It wasn't just Arthur Blank who he lied to about his role. Vick is a terrible human being who tried to lie his way out of trouble before surrendering to the inevitable jail time.

I have the same concerns. Yes, Watson is a great talent, but his character is definitely in question. I'm just not sure this is where we want to go. It just seems we are becoming a "second chance" team for resurrecting someone's career after legal problems. Much different from the past where we cut ties with players like Bam Morris (crossing the border with 400lbs of weed for "personal use"), Santonio Holmes (marijuana stogie in the ash tray of his car) and Carlton Haselrig (drug and alcohol issues, let alone legal issues from college).

Some of the reasons are easy to find on Google, specifically the way he has treated people who work for him. I also saw some of that attitude in person when I was still a reporter in the area. More recently, I don't like how he hides on social media. He picks and chooses who is able to respond to him, which is not a great look for a member of the media.

 

OK. I can understand that. He has always been kind 2 Me and has always replied positively, but of course I'm not media. So....

 

Just go on Twitter for a few weeks and Dejan is beefing with somebody. The bulk of his crew that came along with him from the Trib to his online platform have already moved on and he mostly backfield those legit journalists with bloggers. He's good at his craft and isn't no Mark Madden per se. He just carries drama around him. There's a reason why only people that he actually follows is allowed to reply to the bulk of his tweets.

 

The only thing I heard was he is supposed to testify before a Grand Jury. His lawyer is the same clown who paraded Roger Clemens around thinking he could talk his way out of trouble. Have no idea how the GJ will go, but thus could still take months. Even if no criminal charges he still has to settle 20 plus lawsuits and deal with Goodell. Let the Texans pay thst salary, or let it sit till they have to make a decision because of the financial strain. I like the talent, but the public relations and locker room.nightmare are pretty deep.

Fair enough, but I lose a lot of respect for members of the media when I see them hide either from the people they cover or the fans. Mark Madden often hides from the people he writes and talks about. Kovacevic hides from the fans unless they kiss his ass.

Now it gets really interesting.

 

Probably the most Goodell will give him is 6 games since there are no criminal charges against him. Bleacher report thinks that it is a done deal that he will be a Seahawk but we shall see.

 

Yeah, this is kind of funny. Right now it seems to be a battle between Shaun King and Daniel Jeremiah. King picks the Steelers. Jeremiah picks the Seahawks.

Watson thing always looked weird. How was a guy who didn't even get a parking ticket in his life all of a sudden turn into a sexual abuser? He must of pissed off a rich prick who set him up for this. I don't know.
