Did You know they brought in another Guitar player 2 play the Spanish type Guitar on a couple of these song on the original recordings. Until later they could figure out how 2 play it live???

I get random songs stuck in my head all the time. Today, it's that G**D***ed disco POS, "I love the night life...." I HATE disco!

I'm not a Disco( music genre) fan, but there are some songs from it that are actually pretty cool.

 

I can't think of any.....
except Rubber Band Man. I kinda liked that one.

I don't consider MSM or Blondie to be disco. To me, anything by the BeeGees is just screeching. I just have bad memories of my best friend in a silk shirt, platform shoes and Angel Flights dragging me to a disco. I was in Levis.....
Can't get behind a style of music that got the greats to cave and make their own "Disco" songs, The Stones, Led Zeppelin, Rod Stewart......

My dad had an 8 track in his motor home in the early 70s. I never had any tapes, but my brother did. One of the ones he would play while my dad was around was America. My dad used to ***** about those "hippies" going through a desert on a horse with no name! "And what's with alligator lizards in the air? They must be on drugs!"

I still have one, but most of the 8tracks don't work well.

I went from an Ampex reel to reel to a 4 track. 8 Track was a significant upgrade from 4 track. I remember using tin cans on a string as my first "mobile" phone.

Here's one that's stuck in my head right now, but I'd guess nobody will have heard of them. My favorite Christian band that I've been listening to for over 20 years. Saw them live in 2002, and my kids just went to see them last Saturday.
