Who Else is Intrigued by Cole Kelley??

I brought this up before, but the more I've seen Him the more I liked.
Am I the only one?? Bet We could get Him later.

 

i've talked about kelly on here and i do think he could be a guy to go after at some point. he is not graceful like a malik willis but he's effective. 260. he runs people over at the goal line. he looks awkward but does have a cannon.

purdy is another one i'd keep an eye on as well as zappe. we will need a backup and i have been talking about double dipping in this one. it makes sense since we are looking for our next qb, and we have money to get some free agents to fill holes. make a couple of picks on the most important position of need.

get a top corner and ILB and simply fill in with the other picks around these qb's. you still have whomever is left between haskins and rudolph as buffers. nobody is after haskins, so he will be here. mason could be a trade option if it comes down to it. i'm not counting mason out just yet though. kelly, purdy and zappe have some worth and we have time to work on him. you never know what might come out of it. let sullivan work with these young guys.

 

Kelley worked with the first group of QB's last night and looked pretty good. Zappe had the misfortune to work out with the group that had Pickett and Willis in it so he was completely overlooked. His arm strength wasn't elite but he was very accurate.

 

The double dip is a very intriguing idea. Reminds me of Washington a little while back with RG3, and Cousins. Problem is they have neither one still on that team.

 

I totally agree. Zappe was on the wrong group, but that's when You need a guy 2 shine, and not wilt under the pressure .
