Skyy Moore ran a 4.39 today and was also among the leaders in the vertical jump and broad jump. He definitely made a great impression today.

Burks is 6'2" 225lbs, ran a 4.50 today, has the best hands in the draft class and is a dangerous runner when he has the ball.

same as mike vick. 1/2 inch shorter then burrow. plus the double jointed thumb they talked about helps grip better. i'm not too worried about a1/2 inch difference then a guy that just played in the super bowl. he plays in the cold too.

I just heard them give the answer. He was concerned that his 40 time would be so fast that some teams would ask him to play WR. It was the same reason that Lamar Jackson didn't run the forty.

he played on them in his bowl game too. the kid can run that's for sure. i don't think he is in any trouble of teams thinking he's a 5.4 guy.

We will be hearing about Skyy Moore to the Steelers a lot, he went to high school with Tomlin's son.

Tyquan Thornton from Baylor just ran the fastest 40 time in Combine history. 4.21.

    Who? Corral or Willis?

I thought this was the answer I was given as to why Corral was not throwing at the combine? Did Willis catch Corral's High Ankle sprain?

With the arm strength that he is showing tonight, he will be drafted long before pick #20. Of course if the Steelers are as in love with him as the media says, then they could trade up for him.

They definitely will have to move up to get him.

If they miss out on the top guys, I wouldnt mind seeing them grab Ridder in the second.

My observation from the combine today is that there were around a dozen WR's that ran a sub 4.40 forty including a few that ran in the 4.2's. There is plenty of speed to be found deep in this draft.
As far as the QB's go, Malik Willis will be the talk of the combine because of the phenomenal arm strength that he shown tonight. His last go route that he threw went 70 yards on a simple 3 step dropback that was effortless. However the most accurate and consistent passer was Kenny Pickett. Whether he was throwing a slant, a sideline pass or a deep ball he was right on the money with all of his throws. Sam Howell looked pretty good tonight and Desmond Ridder showed what a great athlete he is with a 39 inch vertical leap and running a 4.49 forty.

Christian Watson is definitely someone I would love to obtain. Thing is, he has had multiple interviews with multiple teams leading up to the Combine; San Francisco doubly so. While I would not suggest a "Lightning Strikes Twice" method here for John Lynch, how Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase blew up the 2021 season just might be too much for him to pass up; trade up into Round One if need be.

Regarding Pittsburgh, among all the informal meetings they have had with the WR's, Skyy Moore is likely at the top. That said, no way he gets out of Round two now. I was not anticipating him on getting out of Round Two anyways. After today, forget it.

As for QBs? For those of you who read my Top Five Positional Rankings, as I have stated before, in love with none of them. Today did not change that much. If anything, all it did for me was make it easier to cross of both Malik Willis and Kenny Pickett. Barring some extreme set back for Corral, Pittsburgh will have to trade up to get either. However, if one is holding my feet to the fire on whom I would want, it would be Willis. Now, as a contingency plan??.... Howell though I do not believe he is going to last long in all honesty either come Day 2 via a trade up.

My thoughts exactly on Ridder. More raw than others realize but the physical tools are definitely there for certain.

Still believe his bust potential is very high but he would be sitting behind whomever the Starting QB is in 2022 at the very least. Still does not guarantee he is the guy if he fails to develop but at least he will have the time he needs to do so. I also would not mind Howell but as I said, not banking on him being there in the mid section of Round 2 barring a trade up.

    That is what I thought.

So, why isn't Willis running the 40?

Willis did really well. The bombs he threw at end were fantastic

Not saying we need to get him, but I see a ton of potential but can Canada n Sullivan coach him up??

    Not sure of that.....

    Skyy looked great too
