It’s here! First bit of news, no Coral. Bummer. Still recovering from an ankle injury. His Pro Day is his target date.

If I’m one of those teams with a top 10 pick, this is a red flag for me if it’s not injury related.

    Why is Stingley not???
I hate when they don't show up for the combine. It's like what are You afraid of IMO.

He had a foot injury last season, but he should go to the combine for the interviews still.

I too am disappointed, a supreme talent that he is, he doesn't need to be doing this especially
after missing the entire year last year

Not worried at all about Stingley not participating in all honesty. Does not affect my grade of him in any way; NFL teams likely feeling the same way. Lisfranc Injuries are still quite the obstacle in today's world of Sports Rehabilitation as there are quite a number of seemingly smaller aspects that can go wrong. Long story short, not being able to treat such an injury right away will result in quite the warped foot; career ending at that.

More info can be found via this video here.

Derek Stingley's recovery is not something that should scare me if I am an NFL GM. Evan Neal however??? That is an entirely different set of circumstances there.

His absence gives me far more pause of concern than either Stingley Jr. or Matt Corral.

    Yep.

Lisfranc injuries are no joke. Even to a normal, non athletic person, an untreated one for extended periods of time will have very negative consequences. Have to get those dealt with right away.

Not only that, due to the nature of the injury in addition to how tricky the recovery process can be.. it is honestly a miracle he is going to participate on his Pro Day due to his occupation.

So, I had said that Stingley skipping the combine concerned me if it wasn’t injury related. If he’s dealing with a Lisfranc injury, I’m perhaps even more concerned.

I also agree with @AskQuestionsLater@AskQuestionsLater about Neal.

what is concerning is the many other players at the positions of these guys. there isn't a huge difference in ability amongst many. would you take a healthy one or one that may or may not be? corral could drop and stingley could drop. i hope we sit at 20 and wait to see who does drop there. not just amongst these two but at QB or CB. corral, pickett, howell, willis, ridder, i think one or more will be there when we pick. i don't think there is a huge drop off from any of them as far as being able to run an offense down the road. time will tell.

Kenny Pickett has been doing hand exercises to increase the size of his smallish hands.

I really feel like I should have Shaq's hands by now....

Freaking strange. Run more times than a MF in college...then won't run the 40 at the combine. LoL. I thought the same about Lamar.:lolol:

Have to admit, its a stupid test for a QB, even a running one.

But it's a test. I don't like players sitting out of them, and I'm not just talking M. Willis, or Qbs.
If others do it ....what makes them(those that don't) feel special that they don't, or shouldn't have 2.
Yeah ....I'll take that test, but not that test, and so on. Again JMO.

I don’t know, I mean if he skipped the throwing drills I’d be right there with you, lol.

Or skipped the whole Combine for non injury related reasons.
