I didn't know you were a Clark or Fillipponi fan?

He likes to have someone tell him what to think

    Kind of like the analyst

They will bring in a middle of the pack FA quarterback to compete with Mason

Unless someone drops a lot, it is unlikely they will draft a quarterback this year

Agreed. Murry is too small to play QB, I hope the rumors of him going to baseball are true.

And, please people quit comparing him to Mahomes.
    Murry: 5'10" 207
    Mahomes: 6'3" 230

You know who is younger than all these free agents? Josh Dobbs.

If Canada is going to truly reinvent the wheel for Pittsburgh's Offense next year, I think Dobbs could give Mason a run for his money in 2022.

Last year in camp Dobbs had better mobility and his passes had more zip than Mason's.

We have about a month till March 16 when Free Agency begins (well, there is the legal tampering period - March 14.)
I haven't really heard a whisper among the ranks in Pittsburgh.
None of the Free Agent QB's really stand out to me. Some writers have linked Tyrod Talyor or Trubisky here, but I dunno about that.
Is a trade possible? That's not really like the Steelers.
I cannot see them parting ways with draft capital to pursue Jimmy G.

To move up in the draft is doable but some are saying Pickett will go around the 3rd to 5th pick (via a trade up)
I only see them taking a Howell if he falls to them.

After the draft a QB might become expendable, but that won't be a level 1 type.
My gut says they are going with Mason and Haskins with Dobbs in the ranks. Probably the best one out of camp starts.

I could see them move on Carson Wentz if the cards fell in the right places.
Not a good solution, but he is a 'step better' than what they have.
The question becomes 'at what price does a band aide come for?'

It is hard for me to see them find a solution for QB this season.

Side note: The Ravens have Tyler Huntly who is an accurate passer and is mobile.
He is an ERFA. The cost is the question.
I think of him as a Taylor Heneicke, slightly better.

    Based on what past history?

I have nothing against Ryan Clark, I don't follow that clown Fillipponi, his nonsense shows up on my timeline.

Aside from sticking with Rudolph, which I know many do not want to do. I still believe build around him so if we need to draft a QB then we have the pieces in place to make a rookie QB in the draft successful. I think it would be a mistake to trade for a veteran for the asking price of most. If Wentz is released, he would be worth a look if we have a O-Line in place. Malik Willis scares me in the draft as many are drawing comparisons to Kordell. That is one experiment I don't want to go through again.

Well, I don't tip my hand to anyone on these things, ever.
But in the past (and I haven't been on this site) usually I get some fairly good info.
Though I admit, Pittsburgh is nothing like Washington where I had carte blanche. (I just don't have all the connections I did in DC either)
But usually, if I get a tip, I share it as long as it doesn't get anyone in trouble.
I don't do those dumbass links either. I put it out there and it is up to you guys what you do with it.
So, I don't expect anything, but typically you get some 'direction of the wind' that the Front Office is thinking "X" or "Y"
I don't expect Tomlin to give me a call and say: "We're going to trade for Jimmy G" lol.....
We all know they will lie, it's like a game of poker.

If the rumors are true and Aaron Rodgers’ relationship with GB is “healing” could Jordan Love be on the block?

And both of those players are bigger than Murray's 5'10" and 200lbs

As the saying goes "it is a game of inches" and Murray comes up short

Jordan Love is probably one of the reasons why Rodger's relationship is thawing with management in Green Bay. I haven't bothered to look at his stats last year but when he played it was not memorable. And I think thats being kind.

Well, the two you named have nothing to do with each other. They are two completely different types of quarterbacks with two completely different projections, not to mention one was a first round pick who has been behind Aaron Rodgers for his first 2 years.
