No fan base whines as much as Steelers fans

 

I'll take it, it's better than Klemm or Sarrett who had no non assistant experience. What he got out of his line to help McCaffrey is promising and hopefully he can do the same with ours and Harris. Hopefully there will at least be structure now.

And we also have fans that are completely satisfied with non-losing seasons and 1st round blow out exits.

Its not bad

 

$8000 for SB tickets. $370 to park over a mile away. $1,000 for a crappy hotel room. $25 beers. $200 souvenirs. I think our dollar has become the new Peso.

 

Canada doesn't seem to stay in one place long. LSU gave him a huge contract after he left Pitt and he only lasted a year.

 

I'm willing to give Meyer a chance. It's not like they pulled him out of the high school ranks.

I think there are a few issues:

- the Rooneys aren't willing to pay a premium
- Tomlin's league relationships are limited in the areas we need coaching help
- Tomlin/Rooneys are slow to make every decision
- lack of talent
- other organizations are paying more
- either lack of talent or lack of autonomy
- internal promotions are based on tenure not talent

I'm not going to use the whole "control freak" thing because I think that applies too all NFL coaches.

 

The biggest problem is that Tomlin lacks an identity so instead of interviewing candidates who fit the system he is running they interview guys who fit multiple systems and not well. His zen jedi master philosophy sometimes wears thin, he needs to mold a team to his image.
