People are gonna complain and whine when this team continues to tell you namely the owner Art Rooney that’s it’s a Super Bowl Contender and plans to compete for a Super Bowl and then won’t go ahead and spend any money on proven good assistant coaches. Three playoff wins in 10 seasons, no playoff wins in 5 years which is the first time in the history of the Steelers this has ever happened, and 11 years now without even coming close to sniffing a Super Bowl appearance. So yea people are starting to lose their patience around here with Mike Tomlin and Art Rooney and rightfully so.

You can’t continue to keep a head coach around who has not won any playoff games in over 5 years. At some point Tomlin has to be shown the door if things don’t start drastically improving and changing in the next 2 years. If the Steelers miss the playoffs or don’t win any playoff games in 2022 or 2023 then Mike Tomlin should not be the coach of this team in 2024 it’s as simple as that. It’s time to start issuing some ultimatums here by Rooney once and for all.

Except Munch has success on his resume and regarded as one of the best if not the best line coach in the NFL.

I’m not seeing where Meyer has ever had a top line but that’s who we got so now we just have to hope he can produce a good line here.

What’s Carolina like barely above Cinci in terms of O line? Skeptical hippo is skeptical.

A fan base hating a coach isn’t exactly worth much. Steeler fans have pretty much hated every coach we’ve ever had at one point or another.

I am going to assume that Munch turned them down. At least it is an NFL coach with Offfensive Line experience and not some assistant getting the O-Line job for the first time in his life again.

Something tells me the phone wasn't ringing off the hook for Pat.

Going from 31/30 to 29/26 is an improvement right???

Im sorry. Garbage hire by the Steelers. This guy is not regarded anywhere, at least not anywhere I have read, as a top NFL O Line Coach.

Bottom-line is the Steelers do not hire grade A NFL coaching talent to fill coaching staff vacancies. They just don't.

Some of you guys that are defending this move just don't get it. Maybe this guy is an upgrade. Maybe he is not. But the fact of the matter is there were more qualified candidates out there, and once again we scraped the bottom of the barrel for a guy that nobody wanted. Not a recipe for success in my opinion.

Grade A coaching talents aren't going to take a pay cut to coach a depleted oline.

The 2018 Chargers offense was 6th in the league in scoring and averaged 4.7 yards per rush, so there’s that anyway.

Don’t much about him other than the stats. I’m not going to hold it against him if he couldn’t make chicken salad out of chicken s*** in Carolina though.

Then pay somebody!!!!! I am not sure if this is a monetary thing or not. This is the Pittsburgh Steelers. If they wanted to bring in top coaching talent they absolutely could.

    Strummerfan,

It makes sense that a big fan of a 4th rate sorry wanna be english punk would like a typical Tomlin 4th rate hire. I'm sure he and Tomlin get along great, and that's what matters.

While I agree with the statement... this O line coaches help buy the groceries..

A lot a made of Klemm personally going to check out KG.... and it was Klemm who put his stamp of approval on him.

That being said...I liked KG and had him in a couple of versions of my mock. But I had him in the 4th or 5th round as a bit of a project not a day 1 starter..... so I'm not sayingv the pick was without merit

I’ve listened to steeler fans ***** and moan about noll, cowher, Tomlin, Arians, capers, lebeau, haley… the list is endless. No need for a crystal ball or to be Nostradamus. That’s just what y’all do.

Which isn't bad considering your All Pro RB Christian Mccaffrey didn't break 500yds because of Injuries those 2 years.
