Do you take Mike Munchak back as the O-Line coach?

Yeah, because winning almost 65% of your games, you deserve to be fired .

It's happened before. Schottenheimer was canned for only having good regular seasons.

O-line coach? Munchak is more than qualified to be Head Coach... and would be an upgrade over Popcorn.

You do know that Switzer was fired after his first and only losing season. Sound Familiar?

Pat Meyer from Carolina will be the new offensive line coach. No idea if the Steelers even reached out to Munchak but I'm sure it wasn't even on his radar.

Someone just asked about it in Asked and Answered and Bob was his usual witty self. He said he was sure the Steelers would be happy to have him back but Denver didn't suddenly become closer to Pittsburgh so things haven't changed.

Marty got fired after going 14-2, because he didn't get along with his GM.

Those players didn't respect Switzer, he was a college coach who was clueless in the NFL, Jerry Jones wanted a HC who would do what he wants after firing Jimmy Johnson.

Then how come no team is trying to Munchak as a HC, were the Broncos OL any good?

Maybe so but the fact remains there's a team who fired a coach with a winning record. If Tomlin was with the Cowboys, Jones would likely have tired of him.

On this I would agree. If He got rid of Jimmy Johnson (where was J.J. losing record when he got fired ) He'd get rid of anyone.

It's really bizarre the number of people who assume he'd make a great head coach (second attempt) cause he's a nice guy or what.

I just read that Munch had 1 year left on his contract. This means he gets to stay home this year and still get paid by Denver.

If he had taken a new job anywhere he would not have been able to keep Denver's money. And, if Pittsburgh was offering less money than he was making in Denver he would be worse off financially for 2022.

Some in the media has been saying they expect Munchak to take next season off.
