I don't think Ward whined or cried when they drafted a WR. The only thing I remember is he commented about Ben's wish list for a tall receiver like he had when Burress was on the roster. As if the WRs on the roster were not enough. Ward and Burress played well together, as he did with Randall El. Hines Ward was a consummate teammate much like Bettis.

Agreed. I don't think people realize how many Wrs have been drafted since He (Ward) was on the team.

Sorry I'm not buying into AB's version of history especially when it's only his POV which by that point was full on Diva. Brown with out a doubt was one of the hardest working and gifted players we have seen in the last 40 especially early in his career but he always took things a different way than you'd expect. He says Ward never invited him or offered him some advice when quite possibly Ward talked to a group of players and Brown took it personally because he should have recognized his greatness. Who knows. Browns behavior is so erratic I would just avoid interaction with him.

Exactly. I remember a interview while Ab was on the team with Bruce Arians that said Ward taught all the WR's how 2 study, and be pros ,and He was one of the most helpful players on the team 2 the players, and Arians himself.

Again, consider the source. As many bridges as AB burned I would not trust his word.

I really hope they do. I just like homegrown talent. I can't help it. It always seems better with guys the Steelers have drafted. Not saying We haven't brought in great players, but it just seems more special somehow.
Also. I've liked the kid ever since I seen Him do a Kamehameha wave from Dragon Ball. LoL :roflmao:

If Claypool was lighting it up Juju would be gone. Claypool stinking it up is why they want Juju back.

Could be, or maybe they like what He brings 2 the table. Im not sure either way. Though Claypool surely needs 2 up his game.

Thin at the position now with game experience. Washington will sign elsewhere as well as Juju. I feel Juju will hold for a contract and not a one year deal.

Leaves Johnson(who should get a contract extension) Claypool (doing commercials for Sleepy's mattresses being on his back so much) White and Ray Ray (if resigned)

They should look to add a FA.

This will be true for the vast majority of FAs and teams. The one year contracts were an anomaly.

I remember the magical time when his bike was stolen and the city rallied around him.

I hope Juju remains a Steeler.

JuJu has been villainized for the stupidest of reasons.

The guy put his FA on the line to try and help his teammates win what was pretty much an unwinnable game.

Hope they find a way to keep him here.

Agreed, all those crazy 1 year deals with extra voidable years were a result of the salary cap going down last year.

Funny, why wouldn't JuJu qualify as that FA they are needing to add?

The Steelers should be able to match any offer coming his way in terms of a multi year contract. I don't see any reason the Steelers would not want to tie down JuJu to a multi-year deal.

Assuming the team even targets him in the first place. Chase Claypool can operate in the slot. There needs to be a serious need for speed at that position.

Because some people don't just look at a guy's loyalty to a franchise and actually look at their production on the field. Juju hasn't lived up the hype alot of yall said he was.
