That would be the Pro Football Writers of America. Actually speaking, T.J. is only the second Steelers player ever to win that award since the records were combined in conjunction with Pro Football Weekly in 1992; James Harrison being the other one.

 

Regarding T.J. Watt, well earned!! Who is to say this is his only one?! Personally speaking, I believe another one is in his future; two if health permitting. Complete package as far as EDGE Players go for me.


For that matter, this all but seals up the Myles vs. T.J. debates as far as I am concerned. While I am not counting out Myles' chances on winning it.... boy oh boy... he has a LOT of future competition there; both Derwin James and Minkah Fitzpatrick included. That is not accounting for someone like Nick Bosa, Micah Parsons or even Aaron Donald... who I believe still has one more legendary season left within him.
