Any guesses to where Tomlin/Colbert will be on March 24th?

Why the heck would they schedule them on the same day? Is that normal?

I think they would have to go to Corrals. They saw Ridder and Willis at the Senior Bowl. If they still go to Wills, y’all should be prepared to see them trade up for him :lolol:

There are only so many days before the draft and there are a ton of colleges that hold pro days. My guess is the days were scheduled long before they knew who the top QBs in the class would be.

I don’t seem to recall those types of conflicts in years past. Could be wrong but from what I have read, this was poor planning.

Well surely with tape being taken, and all our scouts....plus Tomlin, Colbert, and whomever maybe taking His place (if he's already on the staff) We should be able 2 cover them all.

Tomlin/Colbert should go to Cincinnati that day, usually they like to go to pro days at schools that have multiple prospects, they can see Ridder, Darrain Beavers LB, and Ahmad Gardner CB.

The dilemma for Tomlin and Colbert is that every first rd pick has been of players who’s pro days they have gone to. Thats two players pro days they won’t be able to go to. They could split up which would allow them to cover two of them but thats not how they like to do it.

depending on the time the workouts are scheduled they could easily hit 2 out of 3.

The elite football universities tend to avoid each other, this year we are talking about Ole Miss, Cincinnati, and Liberty.

    This.

Spot on actually. For further reference, see the 2019 Steelers Class. Should none of the top QBs be available by then, hopefully "Sauce" Gardner will be. He is an instant plug n play starter and would give Pittsburgh two skyscrapers for corners should Ahkello Witherspoon elect to re sign.

Agree though with Cincy for mine as well. I would not be shocked nor surprised if they opted for Ole Miss though for Corral. He is the only other QB the Steelers have not seen nearly as up close; Kevin Colbert being the only current one to see Corral via a game against Liberty.

Corral will have to put on some serios weight if he wants to stay employed in the NFL.
Those 240 pd lb's will break him in half. And being he likes to run his career will be short.

According to one search I did, Jackson is only 7lbs heavier. These running QB’s are more likely to tear and MCL than get hurt by a hard hit. Most defenders have been conditioned not to blow these guys up for fear of getting a flag, even on a legal hit.

This is true. Also, the shiftiness of some of these guys make it hard to get a good shot on them. The defense is too worried about missing to try to blast them. Its kinda like AB. Aside from Burfict's cheap shot I cant remember a time that guy ever took a hard shot. He was just too slippery.

Disagree, basically flag football for QB’s now. No one has made mincemeat of Jackson.

Even still, I’m sure they will get him in the weight room.
