Why would the NFL go out of their way for THAT matchup?

 

Rematch, just look how this game is gong.

 

8-8 is always better.

 

Mahomes just finished year 5 in the NFL. 5 years resulted in 4 AFC championship game appearances (2 championships) and 2 super bowl appearances (1 championship), in 5 years.

It took Peyton Manning until his 6th season to reach an AFC title game and his 9th to get to a Super Bowl. No one waited until his 9th year to call Manning one of the all time greats.

 

If I ever suspected the Steelers tanking a season I would probably stop watching them for good. I can't have any respect for moves like that.

I believe most 2 win teams are flat out tanking. Granted they might only be a 4 or 5 win team but they do throw a few. Sometimes teams are 0-13 then they lock up the number 1 seed and win 2of 3

 

Enough. I know it doesn't fit the narrative.
1. He was considered the least mobile in His draft.
2. P. Manning has rushed in 2 different years more yards then Burrow has His 2 years.
If P. Manning was mobile than every Qb that has played is mobile, and the dang word shouldn't even be used. Just say Qb.

You know what.Good for them. It may be the time I spent living in Cincy territory, but I'm happy for them. While I was there I met some people, who while otherwise sane, were wearing Bengals gear proudly. I hate the organization and the owner, but I can't help but feel a little good for some real dedicated fans who stuck with that team.

 

We might not have to tank to go 2-15 next year

 

I would say on paper the Bills defense was more talented but yet couldn't finish the job when it mattered.

 

How do you figure? They were a 9 win team this year with one of the hardest schedules in the league, will probably improve on Oline and Dline, possibly upgrade at QB, and will have an easier schedule.

 

Have as many playoff wins this postseason...As Popcorn has the last TEN years!!!!! BUT....Him and Fredo Rooney and those FIVE HUNDRED seasons, Hit different!

Dan Marino 8-10 in the playoffs with a 56% com rate and a 77.1 Passer rating...0-1 in the SB.

The Bengals just finished a 31 year rebuild.......if Tomlin did it in 30 years it would still be better than the Bengals.

 

I spent the afternoon watching the bungal game cheering for the Chiefs who I hate I don’t understand how my steeler brotheren cheering for the Bengals I said if Cleveland was in would you cheer for them everyone said no and I said of Baltimore was in would you cheer for them no but they’re cheering for the bungles I don’t get it

 

Exactly so many people on this board saying good for them. WTF?
