Although in all other cases it is illegal, clipping is allowed in what is referred to as “close line play.” The close line is the area between the positions traditionally occupied by the offensive tackles. It extends out three yards on each separate side of the line of scrimmage. In this area it is legal to clip above the knee. To anybody who wants the Bengals in the Super Bowl, just remember the insufferable Who Dey **** you're gonna have to put up with.

 

In that first half, Chiefs receivers were always hit in stride and rarely just standing there. Either great routes, lousy defense, too much speed, or Mahomes is throwing them open. Fun to see.

 

Chiefs better turn it back on.
