Lamar, Cam, and Matt Ryan all had League MVP. Just 2 name a few that did nothing else. Means nothing.
It's like zcoop said. You could argue it either way.
You could just pick the one You liked best for whatever reason, and find enough arguments for either. I think they are both great, and chose 2 not put down one for the other.

I asked the same question a few days ago on another thread. My guess is Ben still gets in, there’s no question about whether he has had a 1st ballot HOF career.

He will be the ugly sister on the ceremony weekend however, it will all be about Brady.

My guess is Brady will also retire this offseason at some point, that Bucs team is done and he is very unlikely to repeat what he did there anywhere else.

Hate to see him go. Even though it's time, there was a lot of good and bad shared with the good far outweighing the bad. Farewell to an OT who threw the ball really well. :)

Eye witness proof. I was there, you were not.

I’m guessing you know little about football and less about Steelers football.

Here's my take on Bradshaw vs. Roethlisberger. If Roethlisberger played in the 70s, the Steelers still win 4 Super Bowls. If Bradshaw played in the 2000's, I am not convinced the Steelers win two Super Bowls, but Mike Wallace and Martavis Bryant have Randy Moss type careers.

Don’t get me wrong, I greatly appreciate what Ben did for us 2 fold.

I recognize what we could have had poorly otherwise 10 fold.

I just don’t separate the on-field from the off field like others. I rate the whole package. My opinion of him as a football player is great and HOF worthy. As a person, I would not invite him into my home.

Well then you're pretty much a d*ck. People can change. I'd invite him over my house any day and would supply bait and tackle so we could go fishing together.
