Yeah let’s give Mahomes a 20 yard cushion and defend the sideline, meanwhile while number 39 has the sideline locked down he watched Kelsi catch a ball run past him for 20 yards.

If anything this weekend's games show in today's NFL it's better to have an offensive minded head coach. Hint hint Steelers.

True but the two QBs in that game were Mutt and Jeff, not Allen and Mahomes.

Agree 100% (and playmakers help too)

Got the feeling the AFC is going to be like the Pats, Colts and Steelers were for about 15-20 years but now it's Chiefs, Bengals and Bills.

Just below that you've got Chargers, but they're held back by their HC right now.

Chiefs the new pats or what? 4 straight championship games. We are 0-3 vs Mahomes with 40 ppg allowed.

But they still got the ball and moved into winning FG range, before the receiver fumbled the ball away.

SF - GB game was like an OT game last night.

Rodgers got the ball back with a chance to win the game, didn't do it - Jimmy G drove them for the win.

Same for Titans - Bengals. Bengals D made a play.

Sometimes the defense needs to make a play. All the Bills D had to do was stop the Chiefs from going from the 25 yd line into FG range with 13 seconds. Wasn't asking for that much.

They aren’t even running the routes these other WRs are to make something happen.

Hill ran a route he was played perfectly on and won with speed! They were blasting the guy for giving up the inside, but he was holding him and still got beaten with that speed and a laser throw by Mahomes!

Nah he’s definitely a running QB, when you have that many designed runs built in for him and he can make you miss and run you over, you’re a running QB.

If the Bills didn't think they could stop the Chiefs from getting into FG range, they should have gone for 2 after the TD that made it 35-33.

Steelers lost the coin flip, but the defense stopped the Loins. The Steelers moved into winning FG range and then the receiver fumbled the ball. Defense stopped the loins again only for the Steelers to screw up again at the edge of FG range

What killed them was not running that down even further. Should have made them return it. Chiefs had all 3 time outs though which is crazy!

It also helps to have the guy at QB as well. Takes two to tango here. I asked Bruce Arians today how that worked and he did not reply back.

Allen just outplayed Mahomes in KC in a playoff game. That was an amazing performance.

Bills' coaching cost the game specifically the defensive side of the ball.

I agree Allen runs too much rather than extend plays and a lot of that is on coaching. They had some ultraconservative calls late that were designed runs.

Agree - but too many people are blaming the coin toss and the half dozen plays they could have made that would have made a difference.

Plus the Bills get this game at home if they beat the Steelers or Jags during the RS season.

You're acting like Arians was short handed at QB lol. Pretty sure both teams had "the guy." But both were offensive minded HCs.

I tell my son all the time, teams that lose beat themselves at least as much as they are beaten. It's why Brady is what he is. He's great but IMO, his greatness is he rarely, if ever beats himself and his opponents often do.

See Seattle in the SB, Atlanta in the SB - Brady didn't win those games as much as those teams lost them. Brady didn't make the mistake but he doesn't win those games without help from his opponents. Just like the Bills today. Mahomes is great, but the Bills gave him enough of a crack.

Mahomes 3rd TD came in OT as Kelce was covered by a LB.

Allen had a 3 point lead with 0:13 left.

Mahomes had 60 yards and 1 TD on the final drive. Bills collapsed.

    You are missing the point.

Regardless of whatever that Head Coaches background is, the guy is needed. Heck, Matt Rhule, Mike McCarthy and even Sean Payton, all of whom who possess Offensive backgrounds, did not perform well. Again, takes two to tango.

Now he knows how Mahomes felt when it happened to him.
