I think it was more poor playing than poor coaching, I would stick w Olsavsky

It wasn't difficult to find your latest inaccurate post. To be fair, it has become a pattern with you, so that helps.

Why? Our inside backers haven't been good since he began coaching them. Even the new guys we bring in play the same way. That's coached.

Retaining Montravius Adams would go a long way in fixing the Run Defense; doubly so now that he will have some stability should he stay. Him signing long term will also alleviate the team from selecting an Interior Lineman in the upcoming draft in the early rounds.

Regarding Loudermilk, also agree. If anything, perhaps those Pre Training Camp comments made by Keith Butler about him being like a young Cam Heyward were not so unfounded after all. I did like his versatility, run defense technique and discipline coming out. Just did not see much pass rushing upside in the same vein I saw with Cameron Heyward coming out... though Cam's pass rushing skill set was apparent if not latent.

FWIW, I chose beef up the OL as well. I really hope one of the top offensive linemen is on the board when the Steelers pick at 20 and Sam Howell (or another one of the top QBs) falls to them in the 2nd. We also need to target both lines during free agency as well. We’ve go to get back to controlling the LOS on both sides of the ball. Games are still decided in the trenches!

Offensive line. If that doesn't improve, not many QBs are going to have a good time, regardless of who they end up placing as the starter.

Agree. It's fun to think about. No way the Packers are letting that guy go. Even if they did, no way the Steelers are going after him.

I picked beef up the O-line. My second choice would be to find a QB.

I personally am all for trading for Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson. But I think we all know that isn't going to happen.

I can’t speak for the person you quoted, but it’s just a matter of listening to what the player in question says.

I am not sure if any worthy DC would come here knowing he is not really the DC actually coordinating the game. Why would he. You want to get fresh ideas on defense, get rid of MT. Without that, nothing is really going to change. JMO>

If these guys don't draft OL first and bring in legit FA on OL, then they are asleep at the wheel.

I'd take LVE in a heartbeat if affordable, even though he has been with the girls for a while. He is a tackling machine and is all over the field. Built (tall and lean) and moves like Jack L, hold on, I didn't say he was as good, just moves like him to where the ball is) and would be the best ILB we'd have in the past 15 or more years. He'd would make Bush look like a kid in CYO football the way he initiates contact. Problem is he'd injury prone so it's a risk. JMO>

By all means, delude yourself if you like. I've paid attention to this team for over 40 years. I just don't see them making that type of move.

The one thing that gives me pause is Colbert retiring. Maybe he won't unloading so much draft capital since he won't be around to use it all.

That last part is the real issue. The guy can't stay on the field.

Vince Williams was solid. So was Bush before the knee injury.

BS:puking 3:depends what you consider solid. look around the league at inside linebackers and their numbers and then say that. vince never once hit 100 tackles in a season. they run into a gap and get blocked never to get off a block or stand and allow linemen to run to them and get blocked and stay blocked. it's gone on for years. it's part of the problem.

LVE easily. Evans was just a healthy scratch for a playoff game. Yikes. Don’t know what happened to him, he was high on everyone’s draft wishlist.
