Mock drafts of course are completely nonsense but they are all over the place this year.

Some have Pickett being taken #2 overall and another has him slipping to 20. Others view Corral going in top 10.

 

Has nothing to do regarding height for me. For me, everything about Howell just seems.... average at best... well, mostly minus the arm talent. Size is not a problem for me given his accomplishments but nothing that I have seen on tape really jumps out to me in a meaningful way. I suppose we will have to see at Mobile, Alabama for better clarity.

 

Steelers should go after Derek Carr. The new regime may want someone different and Steelers already have a good relationship with the Raiders. Watch it happen. That would immediately make make them contenders and could build the lines and etc through the draft.

Raiders already have a good relationship with the Steelers? You mean when we suckered them into taking two of our receivers? And why would Derek Carr make us immediate contenders? He hasn't exactly lit the world on fire in LV.

 

Steelers aren't doing chit next season, they going to ride with Ruldoph/Haskins, clear up dead cap space, and build up to 2023. That's when they going to try to compete again. Us fans need to just hibernate till then.

 

Neither one of those dudes would even be first rounders compared to last year's QB class. Teams will reach and overdraft/overpay both of these guys, IMO.

 

NBC sports had us passing up Tyler Linderbaum and drafting QB Malik Willis. Heads would explode on this site if that happens.

 

Mine would be one of them, though I don't think that will happen. Linderbaum will be long gone.

To make it worse, they had us trading up to take Willis at #15. Their proposed deal was to swap first round picks with the Eagles and also give them our 3rd rounder next year. All of this while Linderbaum was still on the board.
