To be honest the thought of watching Mason Rudolph under a Matt Canada offense makes me wanna cry. I’d rather slam my manhood in a car door to be honest.

Ahhhh. Whomever it is I will root for them.
Nothing, and I mean nothing could equal the pain of slamming Your (or mine) manhood in a car door.
I rather watch Lamar Qb this team then do something like that. LoL

Don't worry. Last year Tomlin and Canada only had red paint. This year they're going to have green paint, brown paint, yellow paint, purple paint, orange paint, whit... wa... wait... wait a minute. That barn's going to look like ****

I am actually looking forward to it. Tomlin will be showing just how bad he is. At the same time we will be getting great draft picks. Tomlin will be out after a few 10+ loss seasons.

I can hear the apologists now "But when Cowher lost 10 games it was a 16 game season. This is an extra game so it's like only losing 9. Tomlin is still better!"

It’s funny that fans block out 2019 in their “wait until Tomlin doesn’t have Ben” narrative.

He still had a .500 record with Rudolph and Duck.

For you people that are incapable of being objective, that is neither an endorsement to keep Tomlin or to start Rudolph. It’s just acknowledging facts.

Meh, I'll still always watch and be interested to see the direction the team is going. I'm going to go into next year with no expectations and just see what unfolds, but still root for a win every week.

I would bet the house that Steelers pick up a Free Agent QB to compete with Rudolph and Haskins. Will we get Rodgers, Wilson or Watson? Hell no. Will we get a journeyman QB with starting experience like Batch or Tomczak? Most likely.

Yes, but Fichtner was a better coordinator than Canada. Even though his offense was horizontal it was functional. In terms of watchability last year was worse than 2019 for me.

Defense was part of that too though. I love watching a good defense and watching other teams run for 200-250 was worse than our anemic offense for me.

I think Tomlin is capable of the same type of record as Jason Garrett, Brian Flores, Mike McCarthy or any number of fired coaches.

I’m looking forward to next year just to see if Brandon slams the car door. Or will this be another fake boycott?

One way or another, his manhood is going to be questionable.

...with a line and defense that was arguably better that year.

It also shows the value Ben has brought for 3 years and $XX

Imaging where we could have invested that.

Edit: Spotrac puts that at $80 MM

Defense was much better. Best win that year was vs a 9-7 Rams team! Easiest schedule ever and a crazy amount of defensive freak TDs (Minkah) which will most likely never happen again. Next year is the year the fraud is exposed completely.

I'm hoping Canada was brought in to force Ben out and land a franchise QB with a top 5 pick. They can fire him after next season. Frank Reich should be out of a job by then and would make a good OC.

They were trying to force Ben out last year even before the Canada promotion. All they had to do was tell him no and not resign, so not sure I follow your logic.

I was thrown off the Canada/Mason bus last year in the Detroit game. I was one of the group that wanted Ben to stay home last year and not return.

I still think those passes behind the line of scrimmage this season were 100% Canada's Offense, because he does not understand the speed of the NFL. Things that work in college do not work in the pros.

Right now I am hoping for a new OC.

Watching to see what Buffalo's Offensive Coordinator Brian Daboll does after the season. IF he gets a Head Coaching job then Ken Dorsey will take over as OC; if he stays the Steelers may be able to go after Ken Dorsey as their new OC. We need a new OC like Dorsey if we hope to develop a young QB.

Also watching to see what Denver does with Munchak.

And finally then there is the wish for the Watson trade...
