Bengals are clearly the best, and loaded with young talent including a top QB and top WR.
Ravens, with Lamar Jackson healthy, would have made the playoffs instead of us and probably won a game or two.

Now the Browns, they have a lot of talent but Mayfield isn't the answer. I think they have more talent than the Steelers, at least on the offensive side of the ball.

The Steelers now have Rudolph at QB, who is undoubtedly the worst QB in the AFCN. We have Najee, who is good and Muth who may develop into a top TE. Our OL is still in shambles. We have Watt and Cam. We have Minkah. Aside from this almost everyone else is, at best, average. DJ isn't a WR1. Juju may come back but isn't really a WR1 either. Claypool is just a guy at this point. Just too inconsistent. We are the easiest team in the NFL for defenses to gameplan for.

Our GM is retiring, our DC is going to "retire", our OL coach left before the season ended, our HOF QB is hanging it up, our OC is probably going to stick around which is worst of all. It's just gonna be Tomlin and Canada running the show.

We are either 3rd or 4th in the AFCN. Which one is it?

You have to go by this season’s results. That would make us second. Where we stack up next season is a different topic……

I agree that we will finish 3rd or 4th going forward but the talent is there. The Browns are not more talented.

The Browns have a much better OL. That's about it on offense. If Chubb ran behind our OL and Najee behind his you can flip their ypc.

    Cleveland's leading receiver had 34 receptions for 597 yards and 3 TD. That's a #2 receiver's stat line from the 80s.

Cleveland is the most overhyped team I've ever seen and it was literally because of the OBJ signing and Myles Garrett draft pick, and now pundits can't admit they don't know what they're talking about so they double down on how talented and underachieving the Browns are. They're just bad.

T - if we don't bring in a mid tier / top tier QB.

Knowing Dumlin, he'll keep Canada in place and we are looking at first round QB's....in 2023....

I keep hearing this every year, but when was the last time the Steelers finished last in the AFC North?

Answer would be NEVER. The Steelers have NEVER finished last in the AFC North.

The season is over for the Steelers. Why would there be a debate about where they finished this season? That is simply a matter of fact.

Obviously the question was meant to address next year and moving forward.

WAY too many variables before next season to declare anyone the best or worst.

researching when the AFC-N became official. Ben has kept us out of the bottom for 18 years.

pre-Ben, Cincy and CLE were automatic 4 wins. Not that any longer......

We swept the Browns and the Ravens despite having a historically bad offense.

Mason can give us atleast the same amount of production.

Steelers have a lot of holes in the roster but a team can be turned around very quickly in the NFL, especially if they can find a QB and if they have some cap room, look at the Bengals, no hopers to contenders in two years

I'll reserve my judgment on this offense after the season. I fully anticipate the offensive playbook to be opened up now. Ben's limitations really prohibited many of the things Canada likes to do. That doesn't mean that it will be more effective nonetheless.
