My knee jerk reaction subject to change when I calm down.

    Offense-
OL, Sign a veteran LT, sign a veteran Center, Green moves to guard, Dotson is back at guard, Chucks or Moore lock down RT

WR, Sign JuJu, keep DJ and Claypool
    Draft a WR

TE, our top two are good

RB. Sign or draft someone that can compliment Harris

    QB, Rudolph

    Defense-

DL, draft a DE/DT, hopefully either Tuitt or AluAlu is back

    OLB, add some depth

ILB, Need to add a draft pick or FA

CB, Need a number 1 through draft or FA.

    Safety, Draft of FA

Coaches, could make a case to fire them all.

If you think Rudolph is the answer, you need to go back and watch some game tape and the things that do need fixing will take more than one offseason to fix.

Ownership thought the window was still open and they could make one last run with Ben. Very few people realized the window was nailed shut with the playoff loss to Cleveland.

Now the Steelers need to look in the mirror and commit to a full rebuild.

not bad except Mason. He sucks.

LOTS of work to be done. Either spend big bucks on a QB and patch work the rest
    OR
Spend big bucks in FA and go with Mason

either way, another at or below average season in front of us for 2022.

The Wasted Years are still going strong!!!

I think Mason will be the starter next year. Or, Ben could be back, never know.
We have too many other needs to draft a QB this year.

I don't think any of us really think he is but as others have pointed out, this team has other needs and trying to fix them all in one off-season doesn't seem likely.

They should try and get a 3rd or 4th for Claypool. He’s just not good. Some team will love his height and 40 time enough to give up a pick

Long term? Probably not. Can’t fix everything in one season though.

Agree with all of that. Unfortunately even if they hit on every draft pick and sign a couple quality FA's, there's no fixing this team in one off season. Hell, I don't believe it can be fixed with the current coaches, but even if it can, it's a multi-year fix.

Who is the answer that we're going to get? We don't have the ability to trade for a top QB like Wilson or Rodgers. We have nothing to give up, and if we did, we'd have nothing to surround them with. Even Jimmy G would be expensive, if they trade him, and he's far from a sure thing. Put Jimmy G on this team and we are no better than what we were this year.

The reality is we have so many holes that need plugging that QB really isn't even a priority. We aren't going to get a top one in the draft. None of the FA QB's are any better than Rudolph. We can't trade for one.

Might as well plug the holes we can, trot Rudolph out there and see what happens next year. It's going to be a rough couple of years, or Rudolph will shock all of us.

Long Term DEFINITELY not, and also in short term. We need a Vet QB to compete with. With Rudolph we would waste our talent on Defense and Offense we still have. Harris and Muuuth are for real. The defense is a very good unit with a lot of key players, like minkah, watt, heyward. As I said, with a healthy tuitt and alualu this unit would look much better then they still are. The CBs and MLBs are an issue. But I like the play of Adams and Witherspoon very well. So maybe we just need 1-2 better peaces to be a great unit.
The biggest issues right now is the QB and the OL. We have to spend the first 2-3 picks all on OL and WR maybe. And add a VET via FA to this OL. But the main thing is to get a competitive quarterback for not wasting this talent we have. We are not so worse...
But we still need better coaches as well

Even if they're set on Rudolph to start at QB, they need to bring in someone like Trubisky as an insurance policy. Right now, Im not a fan of any of these QBs in the draft.

I'd give Claypool one more year to see if he can put it together.

OL and DB should be top priority in drafting and in FA.

I would let Canada go and bring in a seasoned NFL play caller and QB coach. Personally, I'd love to see us adopt the San Francisco style WCO.

I think JuJu is gone from some of the things I’ve seen him saying, reading between the lines. Who knows, though, people guaranteed he’d leave last season. But if he does go, probably see WR come off the board in rd 2 or 3.

No way they stand pat with Rudolph next season, if he does start, 100% they will draft one to compete/groom.

The rest of your list seems about right. Although, Snell has looked good to me as of late.

but the biggest hole is qb. I don’t think there’s many teams far more talented like say for example the bengals. But burrow is a far better qb than what the Steelers had this yr. Having that guy at that position can mask a lot of other issues.

Agree. Give Rudolph his shot practicing and playing with the starting line while we rebuild the other parts. If he shocks us that'll be great and if not then move on to a new QB the following year.

I don’t think anyone believes that, but the team has so many holes it doesn’t make sense to invest a lot in a QB until other positions like the OL, DL, ILBs are more stable.
