Clyde Edwards Hilliare is out for the Steelers game. Maybe this means we will be able to stop the run this weekend!

Steelers couldn't stop the run because they were in nickel 70% of the time nearly and the DL depth is bad. I don't know if that is coaching or drafting or both.

Steelers do OK stopping the run in 3-4. Not good. Not even average. But not worst in the NFL bad like they were this year.

Are there any breakdowns on run defense in 3-4 vs nickel? Last year was bad vs. run too. I think it's a feature not a bug. Personnel groupings seem a big factor

It's bad. They want CEH in there as they can defend him, Gore and Williams are power runners who will punish Allen, Maulett, Killabrew or any other tweener they put out there to stop Andy Reid varied offense

I am so glad the Steelers did not draft him last year in 2020.

I saw him in person and he is the smallest NFL player I have ever seen. He is tiny compared to the other players.

Their run game actually has been better without him.

I don't think he played the whole game when the Chiefs beat the Steelers a few weeks ago, they use RBBC.

He didn't play much the last time. We couldn't stop Williams or Gore any how.

Playing against backups doesn't change all that much on how well the other teams play against us. However, glad he's out. JMO>

I'm not dunking on the guy I wanted him to do well but let's face it Dalvin Cook twisted him like a pretzel. The Chiefs have some heavy hitting backs and not sure all the hybrid guys can take that beating all night.

    Remember this?

I hated that little Leprechaun after that play, because we had him cold in the backfield.

I'd be more worried about Kelce being back, given our history of being destroyed by TE's.

You must not watch us play.

All that means is 150 yards instead of 200 yards.

My Favorite is T. Edmunds cheering him on. His Favorite position. Watching from the best seats in the house.

They actually did a pretty good job of defending TEs this season.

In 2 of the Chiefs 5 losses Kelce had over 100 yds and a TD...kinda what you're expecting to see tonight?? The issue is not as much Kelce as u think. The issue is more Hill it would seem... In the Chiefs losses Hill has less than 63 yds and no TDs in each of them. The focus still needs to be him, imo, and not Kelce regardless of the fact that they managed to blow the Steelers out last time w/o much production from him. Of course, based upon last meeting the Chiefs dont really need either....nor their starting rb:rolleyes:

    He didn't play last time.

And I definitely don't like being correct on this particular prediction, but...

We gave Mahomes too many opportunities to make a play. Only way to "stop" the guy is to keep him on the sideline or make him force plays to catchup.

Our high school OC didn't get the memo.

Yeah there’s no pressure for them they know we can’t score. Probably just played loose and had fun

Yup. Its was a scrimmage in pads for them.

Waited so long to adjustment personnel it didn't even matter lol.
