Would you want him as the Steelers QB in 2022? He does tend to get injured often, but he would come cheaper than Rodgers, or Wilson.

Sure. Why not? Let's sign them all and go with the hot hand week in week out. See if Breese wants to come out of retirement also.

I think he has one more year on his contract at about 25 million.

I would still take him over Haskins, and Rudolph .

Maybe, but How much would we give up....only 2 have Rudolph, or Haskins play because Jimmy G was hurt. He has missed 24 games in 4 years with the 49ers. Also missed with injuries with the Pats

The Niners are going to ask a lot for him which is fine if you're willing to sign him to big multi-year contract.

I don't think the Steelers would want to which makes it a non-starter.

I don't think so, they got him from the Patriots for a second round pick.

I didn't say they'd get it. They'll ask for it.

The Niners don't have to trade him. They've got a QB in waiting in Lance, so they can let Garappolo play out his contract if they choose to.

If we don’t get someone who can catch the ball it don’t matter who is throwing it

Too much of a pretty boy diva. I’m not sure if he can survive in Pittsburgh.

They won but it's not that he pushed them there.
Lance is the soon to be....

He isn't a free agent. He has one more year on his contract. The Steelers would probably have to give up a lot in draft capital and in money for a contact extension because you don't trade for him if you aren't going to pay him.

I doubt they cut him. They will either trade him or have him play out his contract. Somebody is going to give the 49ers a decent return in a trade. If I was them, I'd start with asking for a first-round draft pick for him.

Yeah and someone will pay for sure. Def not worth a 1st but someone will always over pay.

    How you feel about Haskins?

I've seen enough from mason and would rather go through the troubles of finding a QB, mason included.

Side note- I hate Masons throwing motion.
