He’ll probably end back up on the PS after he clears waivers.

Hope so anyway. Very least it should be a camp competition next season. Harvin shouldn’t feel like this is his job no matter what.

No one said they was giving up on Harvin, but Waitman has out performed Harvin, .. why do you release your best player at that position ?? Just another dumbass move by Tomlin

It means the Steelers won't be punting. They will scoring on every possession.

I dont understand how someone with the shanks can win the Ray Guy award (best punter in college football) he might be adjusting to the speed of the NFL and it affected his timing, he has a lot to prove tomorrow night, but I agree his overall rookie year invites a punter competition this offseason because they need to be better and more consistent in that department

Well apparently Harvin has a good arm on him. Hopefully they have been saving a fake play for the playoffs. We will see how well this ages.

This is worse than the debacle at guard last year! How you make this decision is mind blowing!

only thing I can think of is that Boz is way more comfortable with Harvin holding in a pressure situation!

problem is you don’t get to those if you shank a few and only have a sub 40 yard net in this game!

They may not give up on him but that doesn't mean we can't comment our displeasure with an obvious stupid decision

This is like having an Oline that just played the same opponent and almost won with the second string QB...Change it up because Veteran status...instant misfires in the home playoff game!

I'm sure this is all about who's a better holder

Apparently it is because he trusts Harvin more to hold kicks.

I don't think Waitman had any issues doing it though?

People think it’s a holder issue. It’s not our kicker missed zero kicks when he held. This is classic Tomlin being an idiot. Waitman, Ingram, Bush still being on the field. Green playing center all year. The list is endless. Also Mike Hilton had a good game for the Bengals yesterday (good move Tomlin). I would hate to have too many players that play with heart. Tomlin gets rid of the players that love to play the game and keep the TicTok players.

Regarding Hilton, Colbert negotiates contracts and manages the salary cap, not Tomlin. I think you need a better understanding of the business side of the NFL.

Tomlin came out and said it.

    It's not people thinking it.
