Suggs about Ben......

Actually saying something nice for once.....

“Until the ball is snapped, I’m still preparing as if he’s playing,” Suggs said, via Edward Lee of the Baltimore Sun. “Like I said, I saw the guy play on a broken ankle when he came down here, and we even broke his nose, and the guy continued to play, and if you all recall, it didn’t pan out too good for us at the end of that game. So like I said, until that ball is snapped when we’re on the field and [the Ravens offense is] off the field, I’m not ruling him out. You can never question this guy’s toughness. Guys like that are what this game is about.”

 

I still don't like Scrubbs!

 

I'll give my respects to Suggs. He came out after that injury and put up a sack and a forced fumble. He's paying a compliment, I'll take it.

 

I will take Suggs on my team any day!!!

 

I have a lot more respect for the Ravens than the Pats. The Ravens put on their big boy pads and play the game physically. I can't begrudge them for that. The Pats, on the other hand, are a finesse football team. They want to trick you; even more, they want to belittle, humilitate, and embarrass their opponent. They seem to be more interested in showing everyone how smart they are than winning titles...hence why they haven't won one in almost ten seasons.

 

I'm really (pleasantly) surprised at the positive comments in this thread.

i'd love to see Suggs in Black & Gold. He'd make a good Steeler.

I'm impressed that he was able to form that many coherent sentences in a row. I'd take him too and that makes me throw-up in my mouth a little. I respect how the Ravens play but I don't respect the Ravens. I will always think that Ed should be sitting on a park bench somewhere, covered up with a newspaper and holding a tin can.
