There is this rhetorical device known as hyperbole. Apparently, it sailed right over your head.

I have not seen these analytics you speak of and most likely made up, so I cannot comment on those other than to say that if they do exist, you are even more clueless than I imagined to actually cite them as if they hold value.

Edit: Now I've seen it. Thank you for proving me right.

It wasn't you, yet you brought them into the discussion. You are trying to float that idiocy as if it has value. It is the equivalent of saying "people are talking" as a way of asserting something ridiculous while trying to avoid taking responsibility for the idiocy you are posting.

 I didn't say I supported analytics. I just finished saying I think Mike Tomlin is an average coach.

You posted it to try to make your poor argument look better. Your tactic failed.

Someone else in this thread posted an analytics thing. I found one online like it. Maybe the same one. I only found two studies that said Tomlin was the worst coach in the NFL. There could be more.

    F**k Analytics.
Analytics = I keep feeding data into models different ways till I get the answer I want it 2 be. LoL. Not arguing with anyone here, but imagine a analytics sight not liking a Coach who is not big on analytics. Yet the 2 coaches I know that are huge on analytics ravens, and chargers aren't in the playoffs. LoL.
    Let's break down analytics.....anal lytics . LoL.

And you are trying to use that meaningless clickbait to support your ridiculous claims. You refer to them as studies, as if there is anything legitimate to them. You're funny, but in the laughing at you sort of way.

ESPN's football staff is "meaningless clickbait"? What is an acceptable source?

    ...

Anyways Tomlin owns Andy Reid. Andy Reid is the only coach in the last 11 seasons he has beaten in the playoffs that fielded a starting QB.

I feel confident that the Steelers win the game on 46 passes for 207 yards and 21 runs for 76 yards. 17-14.

They had more success with varying the looks on Sunday. Getting Ben under center, using Watt for what he is intended for, running straight ahead, working RPO and play action. If they end up behind its going to be back to Ben's bread and butter 3WR, 1TE, 1RB set and they will get trounced.

Not to be confused with 2010's March into BA's office and the "a smart opponent strikes where his enemy is strongest and expects it the least" interception and pick 6 later the Packers are in cruise control and Mendenhall is branded forever as the guy who cost the franchise # 7.

I don't think the Browns game with Hassenuer was the rule more the exception. Against a stronger front in the Ravens the following week Hassenuer and Haeg held their own but didn't control the LOS like they did against a weakened Browns team.

You are completely wrong. Want to advance in these playoffs then run Najee behind Derek Watt all game long. Simple as that.

Let’s face it, during his tenure MT had a HOF quarterback (Ben), receivers playing at Pro Bowl level (Ward, Brown, JuJu, Bryant, Holmes…) and OCs with a throw first mentality (Arians, Fitchner). The running game isn’t going get a lot of attention

so how are those 4 ranked top 10 coaches? Seems like a flawed metric.

It probably is a flawed metric. I never advocated it. I think I was being confused with someone else.

Tomlin hates analytics. No idea why. Can't figure it out.

Is why I say empty KC is to good on O to get in a low scoring game..If we have a RB in the backfield then KC will cheat the box and play the short passing game with a extra run stopper in the box.. After we hit them with some empty and throw some over the top we may be able to run a bit more.. I would let the screen game, shovel passes, end arounds and reverse traps be the running game ..So we could still run , but out of a passing look it would be harder for the D to key on that meaning no run blitzing..

And that will all depend on what Ben is able to do. If he can't make them pay for adding an extra guy in the box, there will be no incentive for the Chiefs to stop it.

Cherry picking playoff wins and losses , plenty of backup QBs have won playoff games.

When the Steelers beat the Dolphins in the playoffs, they knocked out the starting QB, so you want to lessen the victory :facepalm:. But according to you that's not a good victory, talking out of your ass.
