I had to work, got home in the middle of the 4th quarter. I get it, I was away for several days. But, the game was on. She was telling me a story. I utilized selective hearing and ignored several times in just a few minutes. So, 388 times for the year is way too low. I'm prolly over 50 for the year so far. Have to focus on the discussions on thesteelersfans if you know what I mean.

This will probably come out as an official stat in the next couple years. Women will have an app on their smartwatches they can just tap every time they feel they are being ignored.

Then they can debate if a husband is better who reliably takes the trash out and never forgets an anniversary for 15 years or who sometimes forgets an anniversary but compensates with elaborate gifts.

    :lolol:

What about you? I know you play an instrument? Any loss? I didn’t play but my friends were musicians and would either be at their gigs or watching other live music basically every night.

Plus I worked with power tools from my teens into my 20’s.

I did my ears no favors.

While I'll give you Ben, Brady, and Rodgers as future hall of famers, I won't give you Wilson or a 4th year Mahomes. But I will give you Hall of Fame QBs:
    Troy Aikman (4)
    Eli Manning (7)
    Joe Namath (7)
    Sonny Jurgenson (7)
    Dan Marino (2)
    Dan Fouts (6)
    Warren Moon (4)
    Kurt Warner (5)
    Len Dawson (4)
    Terry Bradshaw (2)
    Payton Manning (2)
    Drew Brees (6)

    Need I go on?

I feel like chores should be an official stat but a woman feeling ignored should be an unofficial stat because of its subjectivity. There would have to be some type of committee to establish standards for rules and regulations. Could actually be fun. If you think Brady and Belichick were hates think of the Husband of the Year all making us look bad like the brainiac in math class. "Here comes Steve. Won HOTY again. Took Breanne on a two week cruise on the Rhine and got her a puppy for her birthday. I hear he does all of the chores and gets along with his in-laws. Oh, hey Steve. *Cough* Simp. Pussy. *Cough.* Oh nothing. I didn't say anything. How was your trip?"

Yes, many of those coaches are not as good as Tomlin, but keep on cherry-picking to support your failed argument.

Do you enjoy whacking away at straw men? You seem to enjoy whacking away at straw men rather than actually dealing with the real opposing arguments.

    Tomlin has done both.

Stop it. Just freaking stop refuting arguments with facts. It's uncalled for on here.

No, please stop. Between 1983-1999 the Dolphins had 1 losing season.

1 team Warner was on finished worse than .500 in seasons he started at least 10 games.

The way you are cherry picking stats if Ben had been hurt after starting 1-3 this would have been a losing season for him.

And most people don't think Eli or Namath should be in the HOF.

And Warren Moon had 11 seasons in a row without a losing season. He took over a 2-14 Oilers team...

So. The reason I think Tomlin is just an average coach is I think the talent he has had to work with is above average. Most coaches do not start their careers with a young franchise QB and one of the best defenses of all-time.

I think this game against KC is a statement game for Tomlin. The only team Tomlin has beaten in the playoffs in the last 11 seasons that fielded a starting QB was KC in 2016-17.

If Tomlin comes out with a win on Sunday I will never complain about him again. I think the Chiefs are the most likely team to win the Super Bowl this year so for Tomlin to beat them at home with Ben playing as poorly as he has been in Canada's offense will change my perception. Is that fair?

What will it take for you to change your mind?

I feel like after two years without Ben and watching a QB throw for 150 yards per game people like yourself will be screaming for a coaching change.

    Typical Ben hater here hypothetical.
“ when was the last time then let us on the game-winning drive“

he just did it like two weeks ago.

    “ Big deal once“

he also done it two weeks prior to that.

“ yeah but he hasn’t done it consistently for a while“

he’s done it like five times this year

    “ yeah in meaningless games”

what about the game that locked us into a playoff spot?

“ whatever you know what I meant“

Sean Payton won it in 2009, and he hasn't been back since.
