Next year Tomlin is going to be exposed as an Medicore coach when their HOF Qb is retired and he plays Rudolph or a rookie Qb. Belichick made the playoffs this year with Mac Jones, do you really think Tomlin can do the same next year?

It really is fun to watch some people's reaction to arguably Tomlin's best season, one that is worthy of coach of the year. Hell, I wanted him gone a few years ago, but he's not going anywhere.

If they were to make such a trade, however, I believe they should ask for what the Raiders got for Gruden in 2002. The Bucs gave them two first-round picks and two second-round selections for Gruden.

Tomlin already coached w/o his HOF QB. Tell me how he was exposed?? You want to compare Mac Jones to Mason Rudolph and an undrafted player? He still didnt have a losing season with them?? Belichek did w/o his HOF qb.

Haven't. But know that when he wins a game like that, emotions are going to be high, and he probably had a little bubbly in the locker room.
But I do know what I hear when you guys say "lacks the intellect" or "isn't smart enough". Why not just come out and say it?

He’s not talking about Tomlin. He’s talking about the board member.

I don't think that is what he was saying. Tomlin isn't as good as Belichick. Neither are any of the other current head coaches in the NFL.

Is that what I said??? Geesh...maybe you really do lack the intellect or reading and comprehension skills to carry on a good conversation.

Went back, re-read everything, and you're correct, and I am 100% the arsehole.
SteelReal, my humblest apologies. I just read the unrelenting hatred for Tomlin, no matter what he does (players win games, Tomlin loses games, Colbert draft picks vs. Tomlin draft picks, etc....) and I just get the feeling there's something else.......
Thank you for correcting me, Blast. I was totally in the wrong.

I'll tell you what Tomlin lovers.. if he can get to the big dance this year, then I'll change my position against him and just maybe he's a good coach. If not, then send him to the Raiders! Sounds fair?

Yay!!!! Let's move the goalposts again!!!!
"Our goal is to be in the playoffs." Steelers make playoffs. "If the Steelers don't win the Super Bowl, fire Tomlin!"

Fair would be giving him credit for making the playoffs this season.

There’s not a chance in hell he gets sent to the Raiders regardless of outcome.

Then like I said earlier.. I'd change my position on him if he gets to the Superbowl and he'd most certainly win the award.

Vrabel should win it this year.

Titans ranked least healthy team in the NFL by FOX Sports.

    https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/nfl-injuries-ranking-every-teams-health-from-no-1-to-no-32

QB play from Tannehill and Roethlisberger almost identical so not good.

    Finished as the #1 seed.

You might be the only person who thinks Tomlin is a better coach than Belichick. Belichick lives in Tomlin's head rent free and Belichick doesn't think about him at all. It's pretty funny.

Belichick went 11-5 with a backup. Who cares? He didn't even make the playoffs that year. It was a bad year for him. That season interrupted what would have been 17 consecutive seasons with a playoff appearance.

Belichick is better than Tomlin. Deal with it. Belichick has as many Super Bowl wins as Tomlin has playoff wins.
