...but you do agree based upon the talent level of this team they have no business being in the playoffs?? I would say he definitely will be in top 5 Coach of the Year discussions. Name 5 coaches that did better??

Really? Same # of years, same # of SB appearances. same # of SB wins. Difference being, no losing seasons for Tomlin. No matter how it happened, that's a remarkable accomplishment. What other coach/es have gone 15 years without a losing season? Not Cowher. Not Bellychuck. I loved Cowher as a coach despite the "Martyball" game plans and was sad to see him go.

Don't forget the Saints, who wanted to bring him in for a workout.

They told AB to not bring an entourage. So, AB brought an entourage and a camera crew to film.

That wasnt my question. My question was who are the top 5 Coach of the Year candidates?? I wasnt asking who the best coach over the last 5 or 10 years is?...or going into every season....but this season specifically??

Tomlin started 4 rookies this year and ended up playing 5 consistently.

The Steelers had major injuries along the defensive line front in Tuitt and Alalu (sp?)
The offense loses the #1 receiver in JuJu and the offensive line thin from the start had many injuries.

Yes luck was involved (it always is), but the Steelers made the playoffs!

I could go on and on but people that deny what has been accomplished have the blinders on.

This season and 2019 are his best coaching jobs, IMO.

I thought that was Kapernick that did that for his workout.

Even when no one gave him a chance, he got the team into the playoffs. This is more than what can be said about the other superstar coaches such as Brandon Staley. Frank Reich, Stefansky, Harbaugh, Carroll, Urban Meyers…

Anything, just as long as he's gone from Pittsburgh! But I can see the Raiders giving up their 1st rounder this year. We've fleashed them b4.

So basically your problems with Tomlin lie elsewhere

What the hell you talking about 'elsewhere'? Tomlin hasn't won a Superbowl since 2009! How many NFL coaches keep their jobs with no championship in 12 freaking years! Probably zero! Why is he the exception? Fans want him gone, including me.

Because you are a fan and the only thing that matters to you is a SB. Rooneys are business owners and they see a coach that keeps them competitive every year which puts asses in seats and revenue coming in.

The guys worse season is 8 wins, often comes in with 10 or more wins. They have absolutely no reason to fire him unless fans stop going to games and that won’t happen until he starts winning only 5 games, year in and year out and like it or not he’s too good a coach for that to happen.

I was a fan of Him until about 2016. After that I wanted Him gone, but the 2019 season changed My mind. Though I'm a Guy that can have his mind changed with new info. So....
