Kinda surprised with the lousy weather that Ben didn't have gloves on.

I've seen him wear them in snow, sleet, rain before and even 80 degree sunshine. He says it gives him a better grip on the ball.

Wonder why he opted to go without them last night.

Anybody else surprised he didn't have them on?

I can only assume that they don't help him in the rain and that is why he didn't have them on.

Just had a flashback to 2005... Should Ben wear gloves or not??? Also, people want to know... why don't we have cheerleaders??? And, why in the hell did we switch from block numbers???

i actually think the replacement refs where doing a better job than the regular refs are doing. sure they took a lot of time to make a call, but they usually got it right. the regulars are making calls and they seem to care less if they are right or wrong.

Took a lot of time and got alot of them wrong. Stupid things too, like...

-The refs allowed the 49ers to challenge even though they didn't have any timeouts left ... twice. So they were effectively given 5 timeouts

-What should have been a 15-yard penalty against the Lions was marked off for 27 yards. It set up a game-winning Titans field goal

-Our very own Ike called for the phantom PI against the Jets.

    -
The Redskins were penalized 25 yards for two penalties, when they should have been penalized 20 yards

    -
Not a call. But the ref threw his hat right in the path of a Cowboys receiver who slipped on it and it cost him the catch.

I couldn't stand the flow of the game either, we all knew the real refs were going to make bad calls when they came back, but at least you can watch the games, I couldn't watch the replacement refs, kept turning them off.
