Yeah, I thought I heard him say he was being evaluated for one. It doesn't take much shortly after you get a good one...

Agreed. With all of the time Troy has missed if he starts playing again next week he wouldn't be back in good football shape until the end of the season. Just like last year when he did play he really wasn't a difference maker in any game.

It's too bad Clark has just been playing great all season. Hopefully he passes his impact test and can play, because we need him more than anybody on defense. But having to concussions in three weeks isn't good, and they might not let him play because of it.

But on a brighter note, Mundy and Allen have been playing much better, at least in my own opinion.

Clark needs to sit!!!! I hate it because he is SO valueable to that secondary. Two concussions in three weeks is nothing to play around with and in fact he may be out more than one week. W.allen had been playing surprising well in Troys absent. If Troy returns he'll slide back to RC role. if not he'll stay put and Mundy will return from his benching with a chance to redeem and prove he's better at FS than SS.

Clark will not be as big of a loss as ben, but he is the best player on this defense so flacco and rice are going to have a field day. It is pathetic that the inept d-line (HOOD) and slow ass LB's (other than timmons) require Clark to paly up and in protect against the run mode. He is forced to come flying in low and is always at risk for slamming his head into the rb's knees.

I don't. There has been no talk about his rehab, progress, timeline for practicing or anything. I don't think we will see Troy suited up until the playoffs.

So, Is it a calf strain or someting more serious? I wouldn't think that it would sideline him most of the season.

a strain to the calf is one of the worst , because the muscle fibers are very thin and fragile ,and are long to repair , usually need two months to heal but need a complete rest of the part

You tell me. If it was something minor (calf strains may be minor to a "normal" person but not to an athlete), wouldn't they be talking about his progress or speculating when he would be back on the practice field or suited up?

The team Dr. was at the facility evaluating him today. I just read where he was quoted saying "Everything points upward toward me playing Sunday."

With the way he plays and the amount of hard hits he is delivering, i cant see him playing 5 years from now. If I'm correct thats his second this year... with the new concussion rules and the big concern for concussions i really hope he can have another 5 solid years in the NFL. He seems like a class-act and is a great player to watch.

I really hope he can stay healthy and not have to give it up because of concussions. In my opinion he's been the savior of this defense this year. I don't even wanna THINK how bad Ike would look this year if Ryan didn't go over and help him out half the time.
