we may had won 16-13 but the Chief missed a field goal earlier in second half which they would been up 13-10 before Susiahm gave us the lead and also 2 td taked back from chief that would cost us too and missed field goal wouldnt had hurt them

liked they said in post game show and trent difer said which was agree by steve young and otherr guy chief shot themself in the foot with those mistake i am happy we won casue other teams made mistake mostly when we win i think about how we would of and should of lost the games if the other teams didnt make those mistake like chiefs did last night and how we dont score much rest of game then teams make mistake where they would won and steelers lost

i feel if Big Ben would of play whole game we would of won it much better i feel he would of led us to more points even with another or 2 td and maybe some 3 points too

Exactly. You could say that about damn near every game in the NFL anymore. Coming in to the game KC had 29 turnovers which is unheard of so it wasn't any wonder why they were 1-7. So what happens, last night they only had one turnover which didnt happen until the game went in to overtime and as a result we found ourselves in a dogfight for most of the game. Sure I expected the Steelers to win but I also knew that KC was better than that 1-7 record. Consider that KC didn't turn it over, they stuffed our run and had some success running on us and our Pro bowl QB goes down just over half way through the game it's hard to be totally shocked at the way the game unfolded last night but I know a lot of folks here don't see it that way. All they see is 1-7 and an easy Steeler victory.

Exactly. And in everyone of our losses, FGs and touchdowns were missed or dropped. Lets not leave out the amount of points we left on the field by kicking field goals bc we couldnt score a TD. So in a woulda, shoulda, coulda world, we are undefeated.

Dude! Why do you need to go there? I'm pretty sure you can understand the meaning that he is trying to convey in his post, which is the essence of communication. don't be a tool.

Best to just talk football and not make fun of anyone.

Amen. Like it or not, at the end of the year is another W in the win column. They may not have won the way everyone wanted to, but they did what was needed.

Not sure which was more painful - watching the game last night or reading this post. Like nails on a chalkboard. I believe those red squiggly lines beneath words indicate that something isn't quite right - not unlike most of last nights game. Damn twitter/text world.

On a related note, the game last week with the G-Men shouldn't have been 24-20 either - and for many of the same reasons.

Keep in mind that the final score might have ended up being Pittsburgh winning 16 - 6 if not for the "cursing the official" penalty.

It doesn't work that way. If Succup had made the field goal, the complexion of the rest of the game would have changed. And in all likelihood, Ben wouldn't have been injured. Read Ray Bradbury: it's called the butterfly effect.

Bottom line is, it was a pathetic performance against one of the very worst teams in the league. This happens all too often under Tomlin. Keep in mind: the Chiefs had not held a lead in regulation all season. It took about 5:00 of this game for them to get one against the Steelers. Just a flat out inexcusable, pathetic performance.

I think I understand. So by this you mean that typing something like "Rothlisbooger" would just be a slip of the fingers and should just be chalked up simply as the essence of communication?

I must say that the Chiefs pass D really showed up big last night. Houston and Hali looked really good and their secondary played tough. The Chiefs problem is that their QB sucks balls. They way overpaid for that perpetual backup Cassel and they need to just go ahead and bench his ass and cut their losses. They will never be a contender with that loser taking the snaps. They have a decent D, a nice RB in Charles, and a damn good WR in Bowe, some good young corners. And as usual, we played down to the competition... You can't blame it on injuries because "the standard is the standard" and "excuses are the tool of the incompetent". In our case, we just have a standard incompetent tool at the helm...

Most people would know exactly who was being referenced in that case. For example, one would probably know who was being referred to if someone used "Rahtard" instead of "Rashard". Or "Rapistberger" or "Rottenbooger" instead of "Roethlisberger". But hey, if someone wants to get sidetracked by grammar, punctuation, and spelling in a post and choose not to focus on the content of the message, then isn't that really a commentary about the reader and less about the writer?

Perhaps - but most observers would probably agree that using terms like "Rothlisbooger" pretty much sums up what we need to know about the writer more than the reader. And speaking of Ray Bradbury, he was right when he said that childhood is wasted on kids.

If we are being honest then KC blew the game all by themselves with that punk ass celebration in the endzone. Had they not done that, the Steelers would have had to punt but instead were gifted an automatic first down. We drove down the field to take the lead after that. Thanks KC!
