Same as Tomlin getting credit for beating a 4th string QB on the opposing team. Also do you realize how many times I have read on this site (Tomlin didn’t throw those interceptions). Well then with that logic why does he get credit for anything. Tomlin is Barry Switzer.

Sooo I guess him almost dying is no excuse. How about this argument do you think the backup got the win because he played better than Ben would have? If Ben played they would have won the game by more points (there I fixed it for you

Don't play dumb. That's all I got 2 say. You, and I both know what You are saying. There is a win loss by game ,and Winning, and Losing seasons. You know this. That's why the Year Brady went down and only played a few games they still call it a Winning season for Him. It's always been done this way, but now 2 fit Your narrative You want 2 change it. Don't argue with Me about it. Argue with the record keepers. LoL. The reason they don't is You can easily say...Well if Ben(or any Qb) played the game His backup won ....well He probably would have also. I don't even know why I'm writing this. You know that's how a Winning, and Losing season is recorded. It's How it always has been. LoL.
You are arguing just 2 argue.

He's not splitting hairs. He's changing how the records have been kept forever just 2 fit some narrative. LoL. Every Qb in the league would have a different Winning, and Losing season if this was how it was done. LoL.
There is a difference between Winning, and Losing seasons, and Games Won,and Lost for players. 2 completely different categories, but He knows this. So I really don't know why He even wrote it.

Andy Reid is a good example. In Philadelphia he had Donovan McNabb who most Eagle fans consider a franchise QB. As much as I hate to admit it he'd have won at least 1 SB if the Eagles had receivers who could catch the ball. The year they went to SB they had an older Terrell Owens.

As much as I ***** and moan that the Steelers lost to inferior teams in the Playoffs under Tomlin, Eagle fans said the same thing about Reid. Fans went nuts when they lost 2 straight NFCCG at home to inferior teams on paper.

Switzer had losing seasons after the SB win, he was a college coach in over his head in the NFL.

So, did Jon Gruden , the team was two years removed from Cowher.

Every fanbase does the same thing.

We all think our talent is better than it is, which is why we all think that if we had a better coach or OC's we'd be better. Every win is due to the players and every loss is due to poor coaching.

Cowher was in a SB with Neil Odonell....and we didn't lose that game because of coaching. Was back in the AFCC with Kordell Stewart and back in the playoffs with Tommy Maddox. All before Ben showed up. Patriots cheating and Tom Brady prevented us having more SB appearances. Let's be honest.

I seriously believe me and @Steel_Elvis@Steel_Elvis will have our dream come true in the form of the "Baker Mayfield Extension Fund". This fund will allocate proceeds to see to it that Baker stays long term in Cleveland!! I personally would want him too as well!!! :herewego:

    George Seifert with Montanna
    Richie Petitbon with Mark Rypien
    Barry Switzer with Troy Aikman
    Chan Gailey with Troy Aikman
    Mike Martz with Kurt Warner
    Ray Rhodes with Brett Favre
    Mike Sherman with Brett Favre
    Mike McCarthy with Brett Favre
    Brad Childress with Brad Johnson
    Jim Caldwell with Peyton Manning
    Ben McAdoo with Eli Manning

Now, there were other coaches who inherited super bowl winners with a second HC job like:
    Pat Shurmur with Eli Manning
    Steve Spagnuolo with Eli Manning

Of the list above, only George Seifer and Barry Switzer won a Super Bowl with a QB that already had a ring.

Does Cowher get in the hall of fame without that Super Bowl win? That's why I said he owes his lone SB win to Ben.

Does Cowher get in the HOF if Tomlin doesn’t win a super bowl with his players?

Tomlin and Switzer both won with Cowher’s and Jimmy Johnson’s team. How can you possibly be confused

I meant started a head coaching career with a HOF QB with a ring that had 15 years left. Most of those had QBs on the end of their career not the beginning

You are correct Gruden had a gift. 2 years removed that must mean all the pro bowlers on that team must have been acquired by Tomlin. I will wait for that long list of Tomlin pro bowlers he acquired on the 2008 squad
