Playoff team? Different conference but the Eagles are a playoff team with what was supposed to be one of the worst rosters (,on paper) in the league. I really do not take much away from last night. A division team we hate, Ben's last home game, the Browns an ascending team last year were already eliminated from the playoffs. Our roster is filled with some young guys with promise, but a team with a lot of holes and the play for many games this year was absolute rubbish. Thing is rubbish can turn to good pretty quickly in the NFL, that's the problem with mediocre the last few years..are we in a place to trend upward...or downward. Not much difference between 6 win and 10 win teams really.

More proof of the Watt factor. Awesome game wrecker. Up there with LT in my book, when healthy. For you younger fans who never saw LT, my condolences.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was completely invisible last night. 3 solo tackles, 4 assisted. That's it. His stats on the year are ho-hum overall.

I remember the hype around him coming out and how people wanted us to draft him. Would not surprise me if he turned out just like Bush.

by my memory…. Spillane blew coverage on Landry and hooper for first down gains…... but the worst offense was running past the hole on chubbs 30 yard run. I’m happy with the win but not euphoric with everyone’s performance.

Beating an overrated Browns team doesn't prove anything, it just means the Steelers are the Browns daddy.

I wasn't interested in him because he would be another undersized ILB along with Bush.

Tsuka had a few nice plays, he's worth bringing to camp next season, since Taco hasn't done much.

You call letting Ben throw the ball 34 times before halftime while ignoring a successful ground game in the red zone a good game plan? I thought it was terrible.

Maybe the new OL coach had something to do with the run blocking being better, they seemed to run more inside zone.

Same. I called him a linebacker in a safety's body.

He has been a real disappointment this year, after having double digit TDs as a rookie, he only has one TD this season .

No question Hassenauer made a huge difference in the run game yesterday.

I'm frustrated with him as well. He was not good this year. In fact, he was downright painful to watch at times.

Season records are for the regular season only. Stats in the playoffs wouldn't count towards any season records

Ok everyone calm down it wasn't Hanauser , and it wasn't the replacement Oline coach. Here is the scoop . Watching the game last night the announcer said " Canada has adjusted the run game now that he has figured out Najee is a North South runner." I understand that is all just announcer BS but I still almost fell out of my chair when I heard it. Hey Canada that 6 ft 2 230 lb RB is not a scat back " No **** Sherlock

Canada has to go this offense is what you see in middle school football where the QB doesn't have the arm strength to throw the ball 12 yds. Claypool can't get any separation because there is no threat to cut inside on a deep slant Ben either can't or won't make that throw. It's easy to defend a go route when you know its just a straight line down the sideline. The route tree Canada has developed is full of straight lines and nothing more.
Maybe it's because you can't let a deep route develop in 2 seconds.
Almost 50 attempts or some obscene number for 123 yds. Come on Man!

On Wolfe and Starks, between JC or new OL coach, Wolfe did say they were blocking different on the interior of the line with double teams.

That was slightly more the difference in his opinion.

Yes, Washington is that bad. He’s had his chances, just hasn’t shown the ability to play at the NFL level. McCloud has outperformed him and deserves the snaps over JW.

I saw way too much of Trai Turner running towards the pocket chasing a defensive lineman rather than being the wall of the pocket. I am underwhelmed with him and I hope they do not bring him back.

I consider a blowout win and yes a 12 point win is a blowout for us. We played well for 4 quarters for the first time this year. If you can do it this week then all the other horrible weeks are coaching related.

I have been wondering what so many of us seem to be missing when it comes to Washington. Is he incapable of getting open or what. I'm hoping he gets a chance somewhere else.

LT played every game in 7 of his first 10 seasons. Considering how hard he hit people that’s pretty amazing. Watt has been very injury prone since his wallet started shifting the weight on his hips. We will see how durable he is going forward. I think it’s kind of crazy to even think about saying those two in the same sentence. LT demanded way more attention
