Hassenhaur needs to be our Center going forward

I am going to stand up and say that history will show that the 2020 season was another fluke season for the Browns franchise, similar to the fluky winning seasons of 2007 and 2002. And the failure to finish off the Chiefs in the playoffs last year when they had the chance will also go down as a another lost postseason opportunity in Browns history. No championship window there- just a brief breeze when we weren't paying attention.

 

Have watched several vids on Green and there is no question he has the athletism in the open field, a nasty streak and good work ethic..can a rigid weight room training and good coaching make him a decent NFL guard? Idk but like others think he should be given the opportunity.

 

He has no push on run blocking and gets blown up into the backfield with regularity. Yea sounds like a great OG.

He needs to add strength and a serious course on blocking technique. He had no business starting this season. The difference with him out was night and day. I don't care if it was the browns. they happen to have 2 studs on that line that were a lot more problematic then the last time we played them.

Green needs to add about 25 pounds of solid muscle this offseason to be an effective player. He just doesn't have the sand in his pants right now to anchor or push those big nasties out of the hole.
