I live here in Ratland. this kid is interesting - young, talented, lots of upside, IMO. he is a RFA - if our FO is not looking at him, let this be the memo - check him out.

    thank you

    The Steelers signed Michael Vick.

Oh never mind, Steeler fans didn’t really handle that low life, sack of ****.

    Ok, I’m almost over that.

He’s a product of the offensive system that the Ravens has in place. Remember RGIII looked pretty good in that system. Unfortunately, that’s not the system that we have and I don’t see us ever going that route

    LOL
    thank you!!

Huntley has some talent - MUCH BETTER than a rookie, and affordable, I'd think. Look at what he did in college - impressive. and impressive in several Rat starts.

I'd take a shot if I were Tombert......

He has shown a lot these last few games and as committed as the Ravens are to Jackson you have to think they try to lock Huntley into a long term deal. That being said if Canada manages to hang on Huntley would be the type of QB to run his offense.

Thank you! Huntley does not go through progressions. Huntley goes to wherever the play was designed for every play. Teams just have to play zone to beat him- can't run and they just watch his head after the snap to know exactly where he is going every play.

Huntley is a less talented Tyrod Taylor.

I agree that the kid looks interesting. I'm sure the Ravens will tender him. He is their backup. They aren't going to let him go.

I am hoping the Steelers can make a play for an established veteran QB.

Huntley is an exclusive rights free agent. All the Ravens have to do is offer him a contract for the league minimum. He's not going anywhere.

If they are going to use Harris as the engine that drives the offense I'd get a student of Kubiak or Norv Turner.

i believe Gailey is done with coaching. he is 69 years old. he came out of retirement in 2020 to be OC for the dolphins for 1 season and promptly quit after the season. not fired, quit. old school coaches dont know how to handle this generation of narcissistic diva's that require safe spaces.

with the exception of the over use of bubble screens, i thought todd haley was a good OC. he is coaching high school football.

i thought he was a RFA? Has to match or beat a best offer that comes his way to keep him?

they won't and can't keep both he and Lamar, IF they have to match some sort of reasonable offer..

correct but it depends on the tender the ravens offer. your only thinking of the right of first refusal tender

No, he is an ERFA. I've seen that multiple places, including overthecap.com.

They don't have to match a reasonable offer. If they offer him the league minimum, he can't negotiate with any other team.

yep you are right. he is an undrafted player that doesnt have 3 accrued seasons under his belt.

How do NFL teams keep hold of their exclusive right free agents?
Keeping an ERFA is simple for NFL teams. They just have to extend a qualifying offer to the player, and he is unable to negotiate with another team. A “qualifying offer” is simply a one-year contract at the league minimum salary.
