If it makes you feel any better Shaner my step daughter is 2nd in her class, straight A student for 12 years, ACT, SAT scores near the top, honors student. Academic scholarships to a bunch of schools, her writing puts me to shame with the complexity of her thoughts and style and yet she still will remark Queen or cringe, or the dreaded sus. It's hilarious she attend her first college hockey game on Saturday and asked why the UND fans kept chanting Souix every five minutes. Because the NCAA can force a change with the school but bumble**** Nodaks aren't changing. I told her to wait until they start the ain't no beer in heaven song. I got cringe texted back. Sometimes I think language is dying out.

With all the bridges he’s burned, he might have to wait until he’s old and gray. It could happen, after all, they finally voted that POS Terrell Owens in…..

..... Even among those who do not like Tomlin... have to give him some credit for this.

Not even Bill Belichick could stand him.

Well... Rudolph wasn't a racist until that incident. Now everyone knows Mason became a racist on that play and made Garrett do what he did out of a sense of moral urgency- truly a great, great man.

Actually if he is suffering from a mental illness like bipolar and is in the middle of a rapid cycle high and low he may not have any idea what he is doing. Go back to that video of an interview he did with the blonde mustache and watch it again, where he is babbling and smiling and then the interviewer doesn't get it and it's like a switch got flipped and AB was pissed that they didn't get he humor. I been around that sort of event way to often in my life and it always ends badly.

Pete Rose is still shut out of the HOF and he just bet on baseball, I mean the dude didn't even juice up and then lie about he just gambled. I'm not sure there are enough stats in the world to cover Browns issues.

Is condoning horrible behaviour for years good coaching? Let a fire smoulder long enough and it will turn into an inferno. Tomlin should have snuffed it out when it first started.

What are you talking about, got 10 years of some of the best WR production ever seen when 3 other teams couldn’t keep him under control for more than a year, another just one game and another not even one game.

There are things to knock Tomlin about this is not one of them.

I've been told as recently as last week that it shows strength and foresight to force such players with out burst of a similar nature to sit down, shut up and not release them. That such outbursts aren't harmful to team cohesion and that by giving into such out bursts it encourages others to try it.

Oh sure, but I guess my point is if Tomlin had cracked down on him earlier, would the AB we know today even exist?
People keep throwing around the term mental illness. I personally think he's just an *******.
Lay down the law early in his career and I can't help but think he would have never spiraled out of control. He wouldn't have been less talented or productive.
No way to know that for sure of course.
I just think of him like a child. You have to set the tone early in life so it doesn't get out of control later.

I'm confused. You think we should have kept AB? Or we TB should have kept him?
Or did someone else say that?

Not exactly. Of course it is horrible behavior. That said, the NFL is a performance/tolerance league. Teams will tolerate a player so long as they produce.

Perhaps A.B. was a solo act long before the 2015 AFC Wild Card Game. That said, how in Christs name Tomlin got so much from a player who could have went nuclear at his beckon call is why it is such an achievement. That is the point of emphasis here.

In short? Never hurts to give someone one does not like credit every now and then.

I promise you his career is not done. Some desperate bottom feeder will make him an offer. His Achilles heel is his game is based on making great reads so he needs a smart, vet QB and there aren't a lot of them in the league.

I'm happy to give Tomlin credit for stuff. There are things he does well.
I'm not convinced this is one of those things he deserves credit for.
Clearly AB got worse over time. No coach on earth could have kept him stable that long if he was always the same person he is today. There were some documented issues with AB, and my point is that if they had been snuffed out very early in his career, we'd still have the productive AB of old but possibly without the crazy antics.
Instead, I feel like his bad behaviour was rewarded and it led to him eventually spiraling out of control.

Like I said, there's no way to know for sure. We don't know how much Tomlin kept him in check, if any. We don't know what he was like before he melted down. We don't know if he has a mental illness, CTE, etc. Some of those questions will never be answered.

I would bet my life savings that his career is over.
If it was an off field issue, I would say maybe another team might take a swing at him.
But to walk off the field the way he did. He's 100% done.

Brady is the only reason Tampa signed him. He's done.

No comment from LeVeon Bell after joining the Bucs. Even he is not thinking “Dude is nuts!”
