hasn’t won a playoff game in 5 years conveniently ignores what transpired on the field. Our hof qb turned the ball over 7 times in our last 3 losses, but but but tomlin

Gotcha, it's Ben's fault that Tomlins squad underachieved the past 5 years. Tomlin can do no wrong in the eyes of some folks. Sad.

Guess you’ll be happy that Ben is retiring. Now there will be this great MT turn around and the Steelers will win the next 9 SB’s with MT’s Jesus level football IQ.

We sold 2 of them 3 years ago. Not all rooneys are created equally. Art2 is not good as an owner. He's not his dad or the chief. It's a shame the rest had to buy out. I'm still a steeler fan just as I have been to 62 years .

I am not an apologist. I don't care if the organization fires Tomlin today or tomorrow. I recognize that Tomlin is still one of the best coaches in the league today.

I look at player performance 1st. I look at the teams injury situation. For me it's not simply about winning a playoff game. Got it? So tell me what coaching decisions cost this team more opportunities to win more games in the post season? I can point out player mistakes like turnovers.

I recognize the team building process while remaining competitive. Steelers injured Dline and overall young offense. Limited salary cap space to bring in better options. The organization did what they could.

Fire Tomlin today then who is your choice for the next HC of the Steelers?

Leftwich HC brings Bowles as DC.

You can't say who will impress in an interview before you even start the process. You just know that regular season success with collapses in the late season and playoffs isn't working and make a change.

Tomlin is NOT one of the best Coaches, That's been proven over an over the last 5 years! MAYBE, He " used " to be...but he's far from it now...From his uninspired, undisciplined teams...to their dreadful on field performances!

WEEKLY...A Steeler legend says how pathetic, and UN Steeler like...This regime is anymore!

It’s not 1979 anymore. The mid to late eighties Steelers were “Un Steelers like” and that was with Chuck Noll.

You need to pay attention to and understand what happens in the NFL on a weekly basis.

Do you refer the the Steelers regime?

You're either for or against MT and these multiple threads accomplish zilch. No one is changing anyone's opinion so lets see how this season ends and start all over again. I wonder what the threads will look like if we lose out or drop one of the last games. JMO>

Can you simply look at the overall picture? Do you recognize the Steelers overall philosophy as an organization?

Bienemy, Leftwich, Kellen Moore for starters. Coaches who are actually coaching during a game and making changes real time as the other team shows their hand. You constantly let Tomlin off the hook. But when you are the boss, you are the throat to choke when your team doesn't return results.

Not I. I would have 2 say I'm on the fence about it for the 1st time. I've always been a Huge Tomlin fan, but right now I want 2 see how it plays out. So ....as of now ....on the fence.

Not going against anything You say, but You can be a great Defense, and Offensive Coordinator, and a $hi+ Head coach . We've seen it plenty of times. They become head coaches, and suck....go back 2 their Coordinator jobs, and are great again. It's not the same type of coaching. No???

Bienemy doesn't call the plays though, Andy Reid does.

I believe He(Bienemy)calls most of the plays, but Andy still designs all the plays, and makes out the sheet from what a few KC fans have told Me.
    So don't ask for a link, it's hearsay .

Tomlin has won 2 playoff games in his last 11 seasons. I don't see committing to a losing proposition as an overall philosophy.

So, The Browns are eliminated, and the Steelers need a miracle...

Tomorrow is Ben's last game! A long and illustrious HOF career!

At Home, Monday Night, and the Clowns with nothing to play for...

If we totally **** the bed AGAIN tomorrow, will there STILL be Tomlin apologists...I say yes, somehow!

Bienemy is not head coach material. He doesn't have the, corral the troops and inspire ability, at all. Leftwich definitely has massive leadership skills, has history in Pittsburgh, he would be interesting but likely would be a lateral move at the moment with the Steelers having no QB for next year. Don't know much about Kellen Moore.

Steelers need to find a QB first and then find a coach that can click with him. Tomlin would only click with Aaron Rodgers which is why it is imperative the Steelers get him in the off season.
