After watching again last night, I'm reminded that he should have been the MVP. I wonder Warner's numbers in the game were a factor. They were better than Roethlisberger's, so instead of making that decision, just go with the wide receiver who punctuated a great performance with a fantastic catch on the game-winning touchdown.

I literally just said that the only time Rodgers won a Super Bowl he had a top defense.

Wasn’t that SB around the same time as Bens less than stellar reputation was front and center? Could have had something to do with it.

How the hell could you possibly know this.

There have been a ton of QBs that were also 1st round picks with talent and Arm strength just like Ben and didn't amount to sh*t in the NFL.

The Steelers have one of these flops currently wasting a roster spot right now.... Just asked Haskins. Or former Steeler Paxton Lynch, who is currently a backup up in Canada.

No because you're trying to say ben is better or as good as Rodgers because he's been to mote sbs and won more rings as if that's the end all be all. When Pitt would probably have more rings if they replaced ben with Rodgers.

They did not have over 20 different key contributors then what they had the year before. The core players were already there. The primary change was Brady. They just needed someone who didn't throw 30 ints. They had the talent.

It's clear he didn't take care of himself and put the extra work in like Brady did.

He didn't have the same caliber of talent that Ben did in Pitt. The one year he had a good defense he won. Every year after that except this one his defenses have been mediocre. His team literally lost in the pass happy Era to a team in the playoffs that only threw the ball 8 times..

You are right, but just a guy who didnt throw 30 int... C'mmon this is BS... Then let send us Mason to the bucs and we get Brady. I would give them a 6rd pick on Top
    Again, Its all the QB!

I would guess Ben could probably live with coming in 2nd to Brady.

To me Ben has always played more like John Elway than Joe Montana.

2010? The Packers had a top secondary but the weakest run defense of any SB team. If Ben and BA hadn't been so focused on getting him SB MVP they could have pounded the snot out of the Packers defense. Sad thing was they sported them two turnovers and 6pts right out of the gate.

Falling behind early isn't a bug it is a feature. It's not on Arians.

Down 28-0 to Browns after 1st; 14-0 to Jax; 10-0 to NE are our last 3 playoff games.

I agree with you that the Steelers should be able to use the run. I desperately want that. That's not the reality though. The Steelers have been below average to bad at running since Tomlin became coach. 4.1 YPA in 2010. 18th best. They didn't have the confidence or ability to run over the Packers.

They didn't just need Brady. They needed to upgrade the offensive line, which they did. The primary addition there was Wirfs, who is an outstanding tackle. Adding Gronkowski certainly helped. Fournette was an impact player for them, especially in the playoffs. They added some pieces on defense. They had talent, but they needed to add more than just Brady to win it all.

Once Brady showed up the talent coalesced and they started eating W's.

wirfs they drafted so he was going be an addition regardless if Brady came or not. Fournette, gronk, ab, all came cause of Brady so they are a product of them getting him. They did draft Winfield jr. So someone they’d get regardless of who was qb. But suh, David, devin white, shaq barrett, jpp, etc.. all were there. Also what people aren’t adding in is Brady incorporating what he likes in the offense. Arians offense is not throwing to the rb, play action, TE emphasis, and working inside the numbers. His offense is bombs away down the field which is part of why Jamies did throw so many picks. Brady definitely is the biggest impact to what happen much as I hate him.

He’s further then second. He’s behind rodgers, manning, and brees as well. Russell wilson is very close to him also.

Yes partly on Mendenhall partly on David Johnson (the big brain move to have a FB/TE hybrid who couldn't block who continued to burden the roster through 2013 for no discernible benefit).

Johnson completely kissed Clay Matthews giving an All-Pro LB a free shot on the HB in the backfield.
